So sir, RS cells are the one that are considered neoplastic within the lymph node affected, even though the entire bulk is coming from the reactive surrounding lymphoid cells (depending on the subtype involved). So my query here, first is the aforementioned statement correct? And second, what's so neoplastic about RS cells, meaning, do they have the ability of replication as like any other cancer? (Do RS cell give rise to another RS cell or they are permanently differentiated?) And does the surrounding B cells are expected to transform into RS cells also?

Yeah.. The first statement is correct RS are derived from germinal center B cells and are the terminally differentiated ones.. So. They don't divide.. And at the same time, they escape death too.. The mechanisms I have explained in pathogenesis.. Not all B cells can give rise to RS cells... Its only from the ones in germinal Centre
