I have a question: My mother has Lupus and both light chains are high but the ratio is normal. Does this mean multiple myleoma? My mother is also doing a bone marrow biopsy very soon.

Sir one doubt robbins says m component are excluded in the urine in the absence of glomerular damage and in the lecture u mentioned they are freely excreted in the urine in the absence of glomerular damage

Sir i read that serum alkaline phosphate(SAP) is linked to osteoblastic activity and SAP in normal in MM so will there be decreased osteoblast activity as you mentioned or it will be Normal ???

A correction at 4:16, complete M components are NOT freely excreted in the urine in absence of glomerular damage. However light chains can be excreted in urine where the are called bence jones protein.
