Love the graphics. Handwriting also very interesting, almost like a font of regular guy script. Maybe you know them already but in manufacturing we use the 5 Why's to get at root cause. It's a lot like you description of thinking things through at the end of the video. I don't think that people 10,000 years ago were less intelligent than people today. I hope that you were using tribes/Romans/Medieval describing the lower levels as analogy only; Aristotle et al.

I'm almost 30. I've been at a new job for about a month now. Yesterday, for casual Friday, I wore a normal tshirt. My boss called me over and politely talked to me, saying I need to wear collared shirts. Keep the casual professional. He was very nice about it. And I felt anxiety for 30 mins because I had done something wrong. I grew up with unforgiving parents and deal with this kind of stuff internally, but I'm getting better at it recently. Anyways. I wanted to just go home and change so I didn't feel bad anymore. I thought about how my boss might have been stressed because maybe HIS boss mentioned it to me and he felt like HE did something wrong. And I caused all of that stress. I didn't like that. But. I realized I was being ridiculous. I told myself it's just a shirt and I'll fix it next time. And I was able to do that because I have become able to see how I emotionally respond to things and why I respond that way. I've been changing a lot of things recently since moving past some unhealthy attachments and I've been able to do so because I can see how and why I react the way I do. I think about why I do it and if what I'm so worried about is actually something to worry about. Most of the time it isn't. I feel like this self awareness puts me most of the time at a 8.

I feel like I’ve been stuck at 9 watching myself from a perspective so distant down the chain of perspectives like I’m in outer space watching over knowing how I’m thinking but seeing what I’m doing knowing exactly what I need and I’ve finally come to terms with all of the facts and I know exactly what I have to do and what I’ll have to do to get there so I’m making huge changes and think I’m finally in control over my entire mind and just need to work on discipline and focus to perfect my mind in a sense. I am actually so relieved and truly thankful that I found this video because my whole life I’ve always known I think differently and am constantly thinking about thinking while being aware of it my entire (conscious) life. Knowing that there are levels to the mind and there are things caused by each level. I was piecing together my life with every single point you presented so knowing I’m not crazy but just an active deep thinking/enlightened mind is beyond relieving.

Sure, those who don't overanalyze might do more things, but are those things they are doing helpful, harmful, meaningful, or mindful? Are those things contributing towards a greater goal? Additionally, even if one can perceive the higher levels of thinking, they are not unable to see/use the lower levels of thinking when they are the best fit for the situation. There is a need and a function for higher level thinking. And it seems like at level 9 thinking, one would be able to know exactly where to target the issue and from what perspective in order to achieve their goals. That's exactly the part I struggle with. I can see the whole tangled web, but where do you start to begin untangling things? If you start carelessly, the web could completely fall apart and cause more problems because it is a delicately interwoven system of systems.

Yes, I can attest that as a person who has crippling OCD, just an inbalance of having too much glutamate on some regions of the brain can make you not be able to make a lot of things while at same time getting why everyone is the way they are and you just wish you could live at the moment like you were as a child, it is a progress of losing your ability of living at the moment while observing that and being less able to rationalize what to do about that because what would actually work is to not rationalize at all, that can't be solved with rationalizing more, only with living at the moment. But then again, you are stuck already, how can you just not rationalize once you been there...

It's crazy for someone else to explain so neatly something you have been trying for your whole life to understand. I like that you stated that higher levels of thought doesn't exactly mean they are better, I've struggled with anxiety my whole life and I definitely get trapped in loops of overthinking and decision paralysis. I have learned in my adult years that sometimes its okay to chill at the lower levels and just be yourself. But I think if everyone had even just one breakthrough moment where they thought at higher levels, we would have a much better understanding of our world and how to live happily with one another.
@metagorge

decision paralysis =/= higher levels. same for overthinking. you can overthink from the same single perspective, and have decision paralysis from one frame of view, while neglecting other frames of view. you can also 'chill' at higher levels, especially if it's bringing you answers to questions that could not be answered at lower levels, and allowing you to be more productive than you would have been otherwise, and therefore content with your improvement. there are many examples of this. I think anxiety is more of a nervous system problem and can happen at any level, low or high.

Right and best is situational… that’s what you realize at second tier…and as you climb higher you still retain access to the lower levels. In fact not having them as a solid foundation can make you dysfunctional even when you are at higher levels of awareness. Which is why it is important to understand the impact of trauma in undermine that foundation. The climb is important because you become more versatile and less reactive to other people. You see people less in terms of good and bad and more in terms of different degrees of being awake. The less awake they are the more people and things they bump into.

Which completely obliterates the concept of thinking about thinking. Eastern misticism is all about being in the present moment and radical awareness, they knew thoughts were a poorly constructed theories of reality, and knowledge through learning and experience was much more valuable than any thought your head can produce. Meditation if done correctly actually DETACHES you from your thoughts and grounds you in the present experience.

This is why I think keeping a journal about how you are thinking and what is making you think that way is so important. I get to remember it all in a way that the brain itself has difficulty doing. Memories fade, but journaling will let “future me” see what “past me" was thinking from the observations, and what was making me think what I was thinking. Because I WAS that person and am OBSERVING that person, I can have new thoughts about what the person I am now thinks. Which gives me new things I can do from the observation of myself and my past self combined. I get to do and build what I want to make the future self I want to be. This is why thinking about thinking is so important for yourself, but also for everyone.

Your dead on the money, meditation is definitely key. Meditation helps your mind expand but not just meditation alone, your mind has to be willing to expand and you cannot expand if you do not make room for more ideas to enter your mind unbound by biases. The more you can open your mind and be less judgmental the more room for expansion. Nuance is key for true growth, when you press in to learn more and understand more both light, dark and everything in between the universe unfolds everything in front of you. It's like staring into the abyss, the abyss stares back into you. Likewise the universe, don't stop, keep pushing. Leave not one stone left overturned and life as you know it will look like a matrix. More layers will peel back and just observe, lvl 9 is where it's at but only if you can handle it. You have to open your own mind to expand that far, it's a matter of one's own will to make a way. Will you tell yourself you know enough or will you open up to be once more surprised that this universe is in communion with you.

A lot of "esoteric" or "occult" stuff from early ages are legitimate things. A lot of Eastern practices like meditation have actual positive brain effects, and magick in Europe prior to Christianity, half of it was just proto-psychology rituals for self-development and discipline.

Meditation and mindfulness is definitely a level 6 practice, 100%. Level 7/8 is observing the results of, and influencing the direction of that mindfulnes, as well as accepting multiple lifestyles and cultures while also believing they exist better separate than they do together. Level 6 would put everyone together. Yuri Bezmenov detailed how meditation/mindfulness was specifically capitalized on by the KGB as a cultural weapon against Americans in order to specifically create the problematic cultures that were directly brought up by hoe_math as a result of 6 thinking. Level 7 thinking is the worldview supported by modern Russia now instead.

Are you sure you don't "feel real" or do you just experience feelings of disconnection and transience? It's a basic philosophical axiom that the only thing we can really be assured of as "real" is our own thoughts and being. "I think, therefore I am". It sounds more like you feel as if the world around you isn't "real" rather than you yourself are not "real".

Especially since my family relationships aren’t great (mom is a narcissist) not having relationships to ground you can be dangerous. That’s why I stress duality, not oneness. I understand how you feel, as time has progressed and we become more self aware we realize the way we think, and notice our separation from others. I don't like proclaiming intelligence on any level but I know that as we increase the depth of the thought we can generate and understand, we tend to solve, live, think, feel and separate from others. This is isolating as the fact we can be viewed by other humans for having a different thought be seen as immoral and labeled as a bad person, very isolating. But it takes time to realize that sometimes the best thing to do is to fit in. Which is probably why higher levels are not intrinsically better. I found that the best way to cultivate this idea and expand volume of consciousness is to connect with other people of similar depth. Just always keep in mind, we aren't better that anyone else, and no one holds superiority, as to err is to be human. so always keep an open mind. Good luck on your journey, friend.

I have discovered that the key is learning to "tune in" to the different consciousness levels being expressed or utilized by the individual or group, as well as being consciously aware enough about the advantages(or lack thereof) of discerning whether it is an optimal action for you(myself) to interact with them or not. To practice, you have to engage with almost all the variations of consciousness levels expressed by different beings at their own levels, however once you get the hang of it(or at least when it seems obvious for you to) you choose to associate with those that will optimize your life as well as the lives you too can optimize as well(some are more receptive than others to "change" lol). Like a string(or in groups, strings) on a guitar, you must learn to understand and be able to recognize the tension(or lack thereof) of each consciousness level, learn to adjust your own to each variation for maximum harmony, and generate the unique symphony of experience we all love called Human Being, filled with both Joy and Suffering, and so much more. Eventually, you will be so adept at it and the community at large will be so attuned to it that you yourself can be one of the main "Strings" that help to tune all the other strings in order to optimize the world and the future of humanity. At least, that's my theory or wish. Regardless, good luck to all who read this, and may God bless you and your loved ones.

It all connects beautifully.

My therapist calls this objective intellectualizing of my self and told me this is what leads to my analysis paralysis in choosing who I am. She warned me that disintegrating my identity into a collection of processes influenced by time, surroundings and values is what lays at the ground of my panic attacks when I internally realize that knowing will never get me what I want, which is - still - control, but without interfering with the agency of other people around me.

I see what you mean. Alot of times in life we understand things by their opposites as well, showcasing a balance in that form of thinking/feeling. Almost like for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. While I can see that these thoughts lead to a loss of self, at the same time it's your eyes interpreting light waves at whatever interval in order just to percieve, it's your skin detecting energy in the air and that's how we feel heat energy. Our minds interpret this natural world(and only at it's speed, this speed differs from thing to thing) and with every last bodily process we have we internalize this natural world and regurgitate that same info but with our own unique twist. In that way you are creating this world and that's what you have control over, the meaning of it all. And if you wanna be damned by it then you will, if it's freeing than it's freeing.

When level 7 was introduced, my mind was blown. I’ve been having a realization over the past few months that i’ve been improving a lot because i’ve spent a lot of time rethinking my actions throughout my life and what motivated them, how others felt, how those feeling would make me feel, how others would view me if they saw me behaved that way, understanding that different people have different views a lot variety of topics that might seem objective at first, accepting people just think differently and have very different views and goals. I started a new job which i drive an hour to and from so i have a lot of thinking time. I’ve thought about my life over and over. I also acknowledge i have a very different mind now then i did prior to college, my life goals feel more narrowed in and my maturity feels more engrained. I understand that comes with time and experiences, both of those turning me who i am today. Such a great video, i will be thinking about this all week Edit: I believe i’ve used level 8 and 9 a decent amount of times recently, for sure when i got close to graduating college, and when i started my new job. After i few times of realizing i was actually fixing bad habits using my mind to reinforce good thoughts and behaviors, i made a mental map of areas of my self i what to work on and broke those areas into bits of benefits and cons. Learning about yourself by examining yourself is one of the coolest things. I still have alot to work on but i can tell improvements have been made and it’s only the beginning

This video was beautiful. I have never experienced level 9, but have had a couple level 8 experiences when my life changes significantly and I get anxious or scared about all the change, but I put on a brave face because I realize it could be so much worse and it's all perspective as my life really isn't that bad and I'm blessed for every day I get. I find it therapeutic to just sit and really experience my emotions and my mind's thoughts. I think about what I feel and think and why so that I can heal myself and try to become a better version of myself. I pretty much don't really care what anyone thinks of me but I also do constantly think about what everyone else is thinking and why when I am in any social environment. I constantly do breakdowns of the world and my place in it, and I resonate very heavily with the idea that the higher levels make people "hippies" who are carefree and really care about everyone just being happy and unburdened. Life can be so stressful or overwhelming but literally only if you let it, sometimes you can just say 'whatever I don't care, it doesn't matter' and you'd almost certainly be right. The world is too big to get caught up on the little things or what people think.

I never saw a metacognitive breakdown of this before, but this is a banger video. On level 8 there's probably the perception of the passage of time, which changes depending on the scale you're operating at (like flow state.) Many people treat that as accidental and are peripherally of aspects of it, but consciously entering it is on an even higher since it deals with our attention and relationship with time. Being aware of the threshold of consciousness and what lies outside of it, and actively modifying those boundaries to serve us better might be around that level as well. One of the hardest things I learn as a teen was something a therapist told me and I hate " Anxiety is extremely individualistic". I FEELS like it's not cause you are always thinking "But what they would think about me?" but you are not actually being aware of other peoples feelings you are just stuck in your head ASSUMING you know what they think. You are extremely aware of your actions and thought but now enough aware of the PROCESS of thought. Thats why (I think) anxiety could be a 6.

He says: "this isn't some you need Jesus crap" Then proceeds to offer a religion that you spend essentially forever trying to quit being reborn even though you have no soul or person. 🤦 All based on the teachings of a man who was just one of the many bodhisattva BUT *specifically* from the "Tuṣita" heaven, (buddhist cosmology is migrane inducing, cuz ya kno: "dukkha") who, depending on which opinion from which buddist "off-shoot"/sect (in other words no one knows, or EVER DID) decided to take the shape of a "white elephant to be reborn on Earth for the last time." 🤨 This white elephant, enlightened state buddha, from a specific heaven, for whatever reason, went into what I guess he chose to be his mother's womb (via her right side?) to be born, but was still a result of sex of his mom and dad(?). 🧐 All this to live a life in search of how to "detach" and "break the cycle" which he for some reason was the first one to "figure it out" giving us the "middle road" to achieve nirvana as a means to quit being born over and over again (be good or you might be born as a dung beetle) 😑 BUT.... No "Jesus crap" though... Obviously you can do whatever you want, you've been GIVEN the free will to do whatsoever you please. But don't try to reduce the real undeniable existence of Jesus Christ to "crap". Jesus Christ, who factually lived, that we have verifiable first hand witness accounts of, is backed by historical, archeological, and scientifical evidence...not to mention the literary miracle, the Bible, and it's never been exhausted details and explanations for human existence, creation, meaning, moral values, reason for suffering/evil, death, eternal life after... but yeah....Buddhism bro, no Jesus "crap", btw check out this dudes channel he's like super close to nirvana man." I say all that to say this: Believe it or not I got nothing but love for you and since I come from a Catholic upbringing which led me to hate church in the Bible only to eventually come to the realization that my preconceived notions and bias towards the Bible we're not fair and we're founded in my CONTINUED dislike (to say the least) of Roman Catholicism. once I put aside my preconceived motions biases opinions and simply just looked in to studying the historicity of the Bible alongside some personal spiritual self-reflection and prayer I came to what I believe to be the only logical conclusion and quite easy to come to with that, which is simply that the Bible is exactly what it claims to be. Jesus of Nazareth, Son of God (literally God in the flesh) came down here 2023 years ago (current year=how long since His bday, go backwards for anytime before [BC] lol, world changing event) to be murdered by His own creation, for you. God in the flesh, who made the entire universe, was sentenced to Capital punishment: death by Roman Crucifixion. Order was given by one "Pontius Pilot" who was the fifth governor of the Roman province of Judaea, serving under Emperor Tiberius. As a result, your Creator, suffered a horrific death, being tortured, spit on, mocked, beard ripped out, and the One who made the entire planet, hung bloody, entirely naked, disfigured, entrails showing; this He suffered while having the power to come down off the cross and wipe out all humanity at any point if He wanted to but no, instead we read in Luke 23:34 'Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do...' God in the flesh died for you. Because if you're honest with yourself you know that you are what the Bible would call a sinner. Because besides Jesus who lived a perfect sinless life (only way to be a perfect sacrifice on our behalf is to be perfect) so is EVERYONE ELSE who ever lived. And a perfect God cannot allow sin into a perfect place such as heaven because if He did, man would ruin all of outer space/heaven just like we are doing to Earth. And the judgement for sin, anything less than perfection, is death and eternity seperated from God in hell. But hell wasn't even made for you, Matthew 25:41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire PREPARED for the DEVIL and his ANGELS." And He died for all of His creation because He loves us: ‭‭John‬ ‭3:16‭-‬17‬ ‭KJV‬‬ [16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." So he took your place on the cross, died for your sins, took your sins down to hell when He went there for you and dropped them off, rose from the dead on the 3rd day according to the scriptures, and ascended back up to His rightful place in Heaven. All that just in the HOPES (because He isn't a slave owner He gave you free will) that you will accept His FREE GIFT (you don't earn it) so that you can be forgiven, clean by blood of the "Lamb". These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 1 John 5:13‭-‬14 KJV Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Romans 10: 9-10 ⁹ that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. ¹⁰ For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:13 ¹³For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Get saved brothers/sisters, God doesn't want you trying to worry about breaking The Reincarnation cycle trying to achieve Nirvana or get whatever prize whatever religion is offering you by your own works. No he wants you to know that you are going to heaven by simply trusting in Jesus Christ dying for your sins. He wants you to have peace, hope, purpose, meaning, a literal one on one personal relationship with you; and to spend eternity in Heaven with you there. We aren't guaranteed tomorrow, but we are guaranteed to die; don't put it off just simply trust Jesus Christ (cuz it's not crap, only reLIEgion is) and I hope to see yall topside after this short life on earth. Love. Life is Short Death is Sure Sin the Curse Christ the Cure

It would be pretty cool if there was some fundemental connection between the structure of our universe and the structure of our consiousness but comparing two (flawed) models and then assuming some fundemental connection is non-scientific. First we would need to determine that this is a proper model of concousness for attacking the question. Also, the 6 curled up spatial dimenssions in string theory have never been measured or observed and string theory is only one group of theories that attempts to explain quantum gravuty. There are many others that don't involve extra dimensions

4:21 This is the same issue with 'therapy' and I bumped up against this problem just a few weeks ago. See, i have an issue with wiping off counters. There's just been this lifelong block with this one thing. I'll do dishes, scrub out the fridge and oven, wipe off the cabinet fronts, sweep the floor... then walk out of the room without wiping the counters off. I actually clean MORE in an effort to avoid wiping off the stupid counters. I hate myself for this problem. Why do I do it? Goes back to my childhood. Both training and resentments. I fully understand the why. I know where the complex evolved from and how it affected me. Last week I was talking to my husband and the topic was relevant so I said all that and we finished the conversation and it was done. But later it bugged me. I kept thinking, so now what? I know this is an issue. I know why I have the issue. I understand all the ins and outs and history and psychology of the issue. But I'm a freaking grandmother for the love of gawd. What the hell am I going to DO about it? There comes a point where the navel-gazing has to end. You've explored every crevasse here's no more lint to be found in the little hole. You just have to choose to grow up and actually change the behavior. So I shifted my feelings of resentment from my parent and from my childhood imprinting and made myself resent ME. I now resent that part of me that allowed this BS to carry on for so damn long. And my counters have never been so clean. See, I can't change the parent. I can't change the past. But I can change what I don't like about myself. I am the one factor in the universe that I have control over, so when I can shift my mindset to "I AM THE PROBLEM" now I have the power to fix it. It's always a sweet rush when that shift happens because I know I'm finally able to move forward. Us navel-gazers have to realize that insight isn't helpful unless we apply it. My husband is the least navel-gazing person on planet earth, but when he finds some aspect of himself, he just changes it. There is no navel-gazing. "I don't like that I've been drinking as much as I have. I will no longer drink." "I'm suffering because I go to bed too late. From now on, I have a bed time." And then he *actually does the thing... FOREVER.* He truly is a god among men and I respect him so much. The fact is, why doesn't matter. The only way to improve our lives to to practice radical, personal responsibility and just do the thing. It's a hell of a lot faster and more effective than the brain stuff. But I will admit, it's much less fun.

My jaw was on the floor for most of this video, and not just your animations lol, but rather that I felt myself following along from my own life over the last few years. Recalling times of so-called 'shedding my skin' after low points in my life, saying like "oh yep, that was my exact observation level in high school, College, etc.". I always figured there was something out there like this but never 'on the head' as this. My stoic and amazing dad told me several times growing up that I just thought differently than my peers, and whenever I found myself frustrated about the inevitable alienation that I began to foster around myself, I realized that everyone around me really only thought for themselves and over trivial stuff no less. Growing up around people much older than myself, I managed to live through a depression of prolonged loneliness because I truly felt that somehow what I thought was intrinsically "correct" or "mature". As you said, "...higher does not always mean better." and that could not be more true, perception or wisdom or whatever 100% come at a price; whether sanity, happiness, connections, or anything else. In any regard, thank you for reading this post and a thin slice of my life, i continue to live humbly on the path of life that we all will continue to walk. 'Learning' too much too quickly can be a difficult, and often painful, hurtle to jump, but i encourage everyone to never quit and know when you are just spinning your wheels in life. I found level 10. It’s when you’ve spent so much time in levels 7-9 that you straight up make a conscious decision to revert back to levels 1 & 2 because you realize there’s no point in continuing to abstract things further. You realize that you are your own autonomous system and you decide to just sit back, let it go, and let your consciousness do it’s own natural thing without questioning it’s/your motives constantly.

This is the cycle of what people call "God." It really amazes me that people don't ponder religion further than heaven / god / unity. It's an eternal suffering of being isolated, so you must break yourself apart so that you can distract your own self to connect with other parts of yourself, other people, so that you can all hope to get back to unity and back to oneness, so that you can.... DO WHAT?!? DO IT all over again? That's what some religions say. Reincarnation. Ok great, then what, repeat that infinitum? That's the "best" answer the "best" religions have. An endless cycle, to become present, to transcend being into oneness again. and again. forever. Well to me, that's the definition of insanity, and I know that it's actually not the real definition, but to do the same thing over and over and NOT EXPECT a different result is INSANE. This is the part of the analyzing that doesn't make sense to me. If this is the reason for being, then that's it? Then I'm checking out. If it's not, then the answer cannot be unity and oneness, it actually has to be the opposite. It has to be entropy and chaos, why? Because that creates more things. More things lead to more awareness. Leads to more actions, thoughts, multiverses of being. So if we actually found out that uniting was the wrong thing to aim for... we've been doing it wrong this whole time. Maybe, we're actually supposed to go into chaos and entropy. Embrace the broken, for it allows us so much more to analyze. Rather than being in the moment and being united with nothing actually going on.... Just some thoughts. Sorry it was on your random funny comment, Good shit for you tho!

I grew up during the 60s and 70s. Level 6 was going crazy then. Your evaluation is correct, just because a person has embarked on the journey of higher level thinking, doesn't mean it's better. Those in level 6 then, made the mistake of the cliché, throwing out the baby with the bathwater. They didn't take the time to evaluate why things were, and properly assess what would happen if it was changed, replaced, or just thrown out. They also forgot that ideas have consequences.

As if they refuse to look at what these morals were put into place for to protect. I understand that times are changing, but I always felt like time is not the only thing in the equation and that human tendency/nature and it’s consequences also have to be taken into account.

@@VACHAUD I'd say, go crazy - not literally, but try something unconventional. Attempt to construct a world you'd never expect or engage in something enjoyable just once where you had left all matters of consequences completely dealt with. Once you reach a point where you can observe virtually everything at least once, you can begin to shape reality itself. I believe that there's an infinite amount to acknowledge, but the categories are not. Even if you opt to notice the unity in everything or take a more practical approach, you'll easily adapt to a harmonious lifestyle. The reason the 6th level is so troublesome is because it ignores most aspects of one's perceptions. Every level of thought can be reformed into the values of any of the other ones, except the 6th. It is a bit stuck in the physical aspect of itself. (I was going to post this to the OP, but something happened, I guess. My apologies good sir.)

My gf and a friend have talked abt this and we like to actually analyze ppl. It starts with expression, then substance, then reasoning behind substance, and then mindset. Expression is what someone shows directly. Their clothes, how they say stuff, anything that just on a superficial level u can describe or categorize them as. Then comes substance. What r they actually saying. It’s like you can say “yes” in a excited way or a hesitant way and it would convey different meanings. Then comes substance behind reasoning. A great example is your brain drawing. Everything u just said about why a girl doesn’t like you (sorry) is reasoning behind substance. Then comes mindset. Which is way harder to explain, but it’s the true origin behind everything you do. It’s kind of like your 7th degree of conscious. Like you see how all of their experiences culminate and you describe exactly why ppl do things. You can never describe someone’s mindset in a single word or phrase, but rather it is the culmination of everything as a person. If you can understand mindset you can understand the entire person as a whole. Anyways what I’ve been wanting to say is that I think you’re 9th level is unfinished. The 8th level is the recognition of the culmination of everything, but then 9th level is not only being able to understand your own culmination of everything, but someone else’s and truely experiencing what they have gone through. See you just desciebed a pattern of conscious and the pattern keeps on going as you go higher and higher and the 9th level is no exception. What you just described is the ability to analyze someone as a whole. The second level is the ability to understand someone else’s expression and then so on and so on (sorry i forgot what each level, but I hope u get the idea). Anyways the 9th level is the ability to understand the person as a whole, but then there is a 10th thing that i feel like is there but I wouldn’t nessecarily call it a level of conscious just more like a realization. You realize that all the information u perceive no matter how object, is finite. You can never truely define everyhting. There is no absolute in anything other than yourself. I believe this is where the cycle comes to a circle. You then come back to the level 1 of consious and build. Keep in mind it is not a cycle but more like the end of a circle. After realizing everything you possibly can, you just go from there. I know what I’ve just described might not seem real to some people and even to others as superficial. But truly know what i’m talking about you need to experience it.

I don't usually respond to comments but I found this interesting. I would agree with your 'level 10' sort of idea, not as a state of consciousness but a rule of life. But i wouldn't agree with your level 9 in the context of the video. The first reason being, as you said all information is finite which means therefore it can be lost or withheld by individuals. Which would mean for the reality of your level 9 to exist ("but someone else’s and truly experiencing what they have gone through") be impossible. This would kind of have to make me delve into 2 sub reasons as to why but i think this stems from misinterpretation of the video. I don't think hoe math's level 9 was to experience and understand the culmination of *someone else's* experience and existence but instead was the ability to like he said, "knowing where to watch those things"- in context to level 8. Level 8 being the ability to understand the culmination of YOUR experience in real time, to understand the understanding and observe the observing of the culmination. What I drew from the video, the idea of level 9 is the level of thought required to understand which area's to focus on, once again "the *responsibility* for *knowing*-( which in context is the parent to level 8 as a value), *where*-(in reference to being able to understand a higher level of where observing observation is required and necessary, and to understand its role and value in your own observation) to watch those things" that was my interpretation, I look forward to a response. Do correct any of my mistakes from your argument.

Been there. Stop at 7, trust me. 8 and 9 lead to derealization and the abyss of nihilism, not nirvana. At that point you need to realize that you are entering a loop and observing how you observe is making you less happy. Life is a contact sport and time is limited. You wont think about this in hospice. Instead, land the brain plane, dive back into what is primally purposeful (levels 1-3) and eat a cookie, marry a good person, take on real responsibility, have kids, be generous, participate in a small community that cares. Fun to see other smart folks out there.

The transparency that it creates of "gaps" in the emergence of conscious apprehension of reality helps you sort of... place something in front of people that makes them react, like "what the hell did you just say? why have I never thought of it that way?" and I BELIEVE (don't quote me) that this is why they call it the "ironist." Because you are "ironically" giving people the opposite of what they need to force them to solve their own problem from the inside and make them fill in that gap.

What a beautiful example of a person who has mastered consciousness. I feel like I’ve recently just started hovering within all these spaces. Being a master of this feels like your in control of understanding where you would be most productive in that moment in time and understanding the range. At certain moments you must be present and reactive to embrace throwing a baseball with your son or the birth of your child but other moments you sit back and listen to your wife who had a rough day and empathize. What a beautiful masterpiece of putting life into perspective I feel like we’re not always going be at this level either. Early to mid 30’s may be a start if you ever get there then at some point as you age your consciousness is overcome by age and the strain of retaining the last bit of your youth. Not saying by any means I’ve mastered this if in my wording I may have sounded that way it wasn’t the case. I’m just explaining my feeling of what he just explained. To be able to be apart of all these different levels I can imagine it being like in an orchestra and every instrument being a different level but in order to get in all that life has to offer you must be there for the good the bad and understand why each is essential. Wow when you watch a video and feel like I never knew I needed to see this. 😅 Doesn’t happen often. Thank you

It's a very funny feeling to listen to a man you've never met perfectly explain your thinking patterns to you in a way that is way more organised than you ever thought they could be. It really feels like a stranger just walked up to me and already had me figured out

The fact that the introspective human ability to think and solve problems and figure out perspectives continues this far amazes me especially in the form of a simple chart thank you for making this.

This is one of the best videos I’ve ever seen on this site. So concise, simple, and quirky yet refined.

Getting to the higher levels can feel reallyyy empty and confusing because he can kinda trap you in this hole where you don’t even know ur true feelings. After you’ve analysed ur feelings so much that it just feels weird to watch others so easily succumb to that short term relief of revenge or whatever. It can even trap you in this feeling of being above all these things that it’s stops you from wanting to enjoy basic human desires like chase women and make friends. It always seems to be interpreted as you thinking urself to be superior and you understand exactly why they think that and why you think the way you do but can never communicate that. Honestly this vid perfectly describes the way I’ve come to see myself and the world and glad I found this channel👍

The thing is that communication is a skill, a different part of the brian than thinking, that you have to learn to develop. Empathy is also a skill. Being present is a skill. Knowledge (LEARNING not thinking) is the best way to develop your logic. Productivity is a skill. Emotional maturity is a skill. And all of this things can get you a good job and a good partner EASILY. Thinking is basically your bain making inaccurate theories and impeding you to be in the present moment, while skills ground you to real life. Tell me, do you still feel superior after reading this comment? lmao

This has happened to me and you explained it perfectly. @Arcanineistthebest’s reply should get you to snap out of the strange feeling of being above everything because of, I guess apathy.

@@Arcanineisthebest I am definitely emotionally mature atleast compared to most other young guy my age I don’t get angry at people easily and I don’t feel sad for things that won’t affect my life long term but what I do need to work on empathy with others I do fully understand what they are saying and why but i can’t relate to it maybe I just think about things too logically

holy shit this is exactly how i feel. im sometimes terrified of letting myself sit with my thoughts because reaching the higher levels u lose ur human-ness and become something else just watching everything, it feels lonely and alienating

@@SuperRandoms. the thing is, you have to base your higher levels on your lower levels. You can't exist on level 5-9, you visit it. The grunt work needs to be done and that's on level 1-4, maybe 5. Above that is fun and liberating, but also soul crushing and like your feet are never on the ground. Higher levels are there to visit but not to stay for too long. If you can get there once, your being will need you to return every once in a while, but staying there can also be overindulgence, like the lower levels. But it's fun and stimulating for sure, and also can be useful if you need it. And can also be very impactful because sometimes one visit can change your behaviour on all other levels bellow.

This is by far one of the best videos I have ever watched on KZbin. This really helped me pinpoint exactly why are some people are not capable of having certain conversations or why I find it hard to make friends or why some people consider me to be mature. Like, sometimes you just think the way you do and aren't always aware that peoples thinking levels stop at certain levels.

Consider this tho. Perhaps it's easier to make friends when you focus more on self- awareness (Knowing where every triger, good or bad, comes form), Knowledge, Skills, Productivity, and empathy, than thinking? It sounds like you guys are actually 10 levels inside your head when some people are out here living in the present moment. Zen masters, which btw Ken wilbur (the guy who made this graph) is a big fan of, calls it the "thinking disease". Turns out when you are skilled, productive, know how to connect with anyone, and know your own BS, you can just trust life and let go. But this thinking sht is just going to sink you deeper inside your own head.

This is a great explanation of our behavior in the human form we are experiencing. I really like the call out of how we fluctuate between these levels on a daily basis. Through my own experiences I have spent a little time in 9, it's more of glimpses of time and a knowingness but not always readily available to me as I watch myself get caught up in the human dance we have chosen to live in. Great job simplifying ....
