That says a lot about the quality and strength of your axes, a lot more shock going through the haft beating steel compared to biting into a tree and the hot cut was a thing of beauty.
@SatanSupimpa6 жыл бұрын
Your axes are what they're supposed to be, amazing and functional tools. But your knives are a thing of beauty, the full artistry of your blacksmithing skills. These worlds should collide, as the prettiest axe ever made. Something you would imagine as a cerimonial weapon, used to deliver sacrifices for an evil god.

How to make 2 person hammering more..... fun?....... scarry?....... dangerous?........ I'm going with exciting! That was really cool to watch. I'm just starting my blacksmithing journey and I don't have a hot cut hardy yet so I've been using a cheap hatchet. Now if anyone says I shouldn't be doing it I can just point to this video. The cut you got was sooooooooo clean!! Really cool video 😊👍👍👍👍👍

Liam, I do a little bit of hobby-level blacksmithing with all hand tools, but I've always been an outdoorsy person and I cut tons (literally) of wood with axes, and cutting wood with an axe is probably one of my favorite things to do. Because of this, I have a lot of axe-swinging muscle memory. Recently, I've been toying with the idea of a 3ish pound straight-pein hammer on a longish bent handle like an axe so that I could take advantage of my chopping muscles and accuracy to really lay into some metal. Do you think there is any merit to this idea or am I just being a goof? Thanks!
