NCL is losing us - we've only sailed NCL (Platinum status) but after Prima with the stupid lack of spaces to relax, over-crowded dining hall, focus on over-priced "artwork" that contributes zero to my cruise experience, etc., their direction is not where we want to be. We just booked our first non-NCL cruise (MSC) as a result.

Great video - you had me cracking up with your scene re: the volume of the announcements in the cabin - I had exactly the same thing on Virtuosa a few months ago. I'm now convinced they do it so that passengers don't pretend to have not heard the drill, haha!

We go next month (different MSC ship) and I'm a first time cruiser, the muster drill seems super confusing and not logical at all. I really hope they've improved it since then.

You are a great resource for MSC experiences! Question for you: We received our cruise tickets for our July 2 cruise in the MSC Euribia. Our check in time is 10:00 which seems quite early. We are arriving in Copenhagen late in the evening the night before. What is your experience with these check in times? If I were to call them, will they change it?

Hi Kevin! You could probably get it changed but usually they're cool if you show up late, they just don't want you showing up earlier than your time. But we are not super experienced with MSC so I would check with MSC directly to make sure. Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢

On Davina, my husband and I were sent to muster drill detention. They sent us a note to our room that we missed the muster check in and we had to go to the theater to listen to the entire speech and then had to get our cards scanned at different stations i posted in areas in the theater. Then they dismissed us according to our muster drill station number, Totally learned our lesson.

Hello guys! I love MSC Cruises and will be interested to hear your thoughts. Agreed the VV has killer pizza! Good to know MSC information: The wireless charging disc on the desk will operate even if you do not have your card in the electricity slot by the door, you can also purchase a 5$ wearable wristband at guest services that works just like your MSC card so you can leave your card in the slot if you need to charge something while you are out and about and even though you registered a cc online you still have to use that kiosk to link your cc within 48 hours, MSC can be quirky :) Have an amazing cruise!

Hi guys, hope you and yours are all doing well. QUESTION: How would you rate MSC Cruise Lines? Other videos have said that the food, especially in the Buffet is "subpar"; the entertainment was lacking; that the Cruise Director and staff were not engaging that much and the private beach in the Bahamas was barren. WHAT SAY YOU?

Hi Clarence! So we personally didn’t have an issue with the food quality (on Seashore at least) but not many free options. I wouldn’t call the staff unfriendly but it’s definitely a different vibe from other cruise lines. Staff isn’t as involved and customer service isn’t as good as other lines. Ocean Cay was very barren and not a lot of shade but the water was really clear and pretty. Overall we wouldn’t pick MSC over other lines and we don’t sell them anymore because we’ve had issues on the TA side of things. We hope this helps! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢

@@mommybehavior101 I was on the inaugural sailing and the kinks weren’t all worked out. It may be better now, however the whole muster drill thing is kinda dumb. You have to wait in your cabin to watch the drill, then pick up the phone and dial a number to confirm you watched the drill, then go out to find your muster station. They just scan your card and you’re good to go. So you will most likely have a better experience than I had. Staff was great, food was good. I’d be interested in knowing how your experience was when you get back, but definitely not a reason to be nervous. 😉

Such bad management, no efficiency, terrible elevators that don’t work and are very slow and takes so long to get a drink even with a drinks package. Not one waiter came to our sunbed and asked us for a drink on our two week stay. The food is terrible, even the pasta was undercooked which means you have to pay for the speciality restaurants. AVOID MSC! ❌❌❌❌❌
