Let’s Party On The Mardi! Welcome to Carnival’s newest ship, Mardi Gras! Mardi Gras first sailing is from Port Canaveral on July 31st 2021 and we are here on this sailing to bring you all the new content! Mardi Gras is the first of it's kind bring new innovation to both Carnival Cruise Line and the Cruise Industry as a whole! Mardi Gras is Carnival's first mega ship and now the largest in there fleet! It will feature six uniquely themed zones that will house an array of new restaurants, entertainment, lounges, and activities! Mardi Gras also is honored with the title of the first LNG ship in North America! For today we want to show you several room types an categories! We we’re able to tour these room during Carnival’s media preview and we are excited to share with you! Due to other people also touring the same rooms, we were not able to go into as much detail as we usually do. We were able to see many stateroom types, from the top Carnival Excel Presidental Suite, to Family Harbor Cabins, to Regular Interior Staterooms! We hope this is helpful for you! Hello, what i find as an improvement is the Bathrooms in the cabins. Shower curtains....gone. Havana pictures ect are the same as all the other Vista class Havana cabins. Although all cabins are nice they seem to have that commercial feeling. Example night stands. Cove balconies just like Vista class....love them! Like all those USB ports. Thanks for sharing!

I had a Spa Cove Balcony cabin. It was about a foot and half smaller than before. Also, the bathrooms are about the size of an airplane bathroom. They are adding more cabins, but making them smaller

With all their improvements, why are there STILL no electrical outlets by the be? Though I love Carnival, using BIPAP for sleep apnea means getting the room steward to acquire an extension cord (I used to bring my own but they were never long enough). The cord had to be taped up the wall and across the ceiling so we didn't trip over it in the middle of the night. Really attractive.

Thank you so much for posting this video! This is great content. I do have one question though. You mentioned that there is an area next to the bed to place a CPAP machine at 11:54. Is there a standard plug by the bed for it? I was only able to see the USB ports on the video.

Do all of the suites couches pull out to a bed?

Hi Matt and Chelz. The robes in the rooms, to use them while on your cruise do you have to pay for them or can you wear them as you like and the state room attendant can clean them for you while your on your cruise holiday. I'm asking as when my wife and I cruised on P&O Pacific Aria back in 2016 and the robes were sealed in the closest in a plastic bag with a note saying if the bag is open you have brought it. It was $50 AUD each I think. So we quickly put them away not to touch them.

On carnival you can wear the robes free of charge. If you were to take them home with you however you would be charged.

we're on mardi gras dec 11-17th 2021 unvax 2 adults birthday celebration been cruising with carnival since 1990's. what's our chances of getting onboard? didn't purchase travel ins yet cuz was told to hold off til protocals out maybe sept/oct? never been sick onboard ship yet ..so concerned but not stressing. its surprise for husband anniversary ..don't know if they'll cancel us & don't want to ruin vacation days off we have to take...

They also won’t notify you until inside of two weeks from the sail date, so you unfortunately have to wait quite a while to hear something.
