I'm curious, who do you think are "weebs"? Everyone on the internet likes to make fun of them, I'm pretty sure they also do, but I wonder what that term means to you. I don't personally consider myself a weeb, I'm fan of animation of all types, and I've watch a dozen or so animes. (I noticed you're a fellow subscriber of saberspark and viziepop BTW) I can't speak for everyone of course, but the reason I've enjoyed Vtubers isn't just because it's an anime girl. A lot of old youtubers I used to watch grew stale, and the Vtubers I follow make content I enjoy. The animated avatar is cool and all, but it wasn't the main appeal. The community around them is very friendly and welcoming too. They're fans, so much like most celebrity/youtuber fans there are those who take it too far, but I've not encountered much problems with my interaction with this fanbase. What exactly put you off from the whole thing?

Not all of them are the same, but many of them have common attributes that I detest. You just like Vtuber content because the community is welcoming? Thats nice.
