So in the age of 13, when she did Bohemian Rapsody, she has been a matured singer already. Just think, 13 year old girl from Norway goes on the largest stage in the world, barefoot, to sing for her idol, Simon, opening a cappella in a very soft breathy tone, to perform probably the most iconic song ever written sung by one of the greatest rock singers of all time and creates a masterpiece for the ages. This was all Angelina's arrangement as she has done with all of her songs since 7 years old winning Norway's Got Talent at 8 years old singing 4 classic jazz classics. Remarkable. A true prodigy. Thanks to grandma Mery Zamani who has video recorded nearly every performance since 6 years old we have the privilege of witnessing the development of a future superstar from the beginning with over 140 videos. What a rare treat! Not only does Angelina interpret, arrange and deliver a song to connect emotionally with the audience she is also a humanitarian since age 6. Better late then never. How many times can you watch the raise of a legend as it happens ? At her first audition at 7 yo the judges did not know what to say, sayed that she was music and that they just had heard the beginning of a star. They was very afreid that she would be destroyed by the music industri. Her family has had the breaks on from the start because they would let her have as normal as possibel childhod.

First recorded singing at eighteen months of age. At two and three she is scrolling through KZbin looking for Jazz artists to listen to. By six she is found in the recording booth. She is speaking Norwegian, Persian and English While recording she is reading the lyrics in English. She is playing piano, violin and flute taking singing and voice lessons in after school program.

Norwegian-born Angelina Jordan is a music prodigy she started singing at age of 1.5 years and more than that she started with Billy Holiday Jazz. I've followed her from around the age of 5 years here is a few tidbits I've found mostly from her fans: Angelina speaks and sings in 3 languages, (Norwegen and English being her primary language) she designs her own clothes and has written a popular-selling book called "Mellon to jheter" (Between two Hearts) published 2015 Angelina was 9 years old it's a story about why she sings barefoot and like her name she truly is an angel with a heart of gold. Angelina won Norway's got talent when she was 7 years old when she started competing and 8 years old when she won. Her younger years before age 13 she was watched over by her mother (Sara) and her Uncle-manager who just wanted her to grow up normal. Her mother and uncle Turned down almost 90% of all requests for her to perform but even so from age 7 years to 12 years old or so, she has been all over the world (Mother never more than a breath away) Angelina has produced over 130 covers, and she makes all of them her own, all of which will astound you. New people to Angelina get sucked down this road of experience not believing what they're hearing her excellent vocals and unique way of singing, Angelina is a master at music structure her ability to show absolute recognition to a cover while she makes it her own. Angelina writes her own music and produces it. As you indicated, and I agree, she does have an element of Norah Jones in her voice, at least in this song. I think in my opinion that she has added a little bit of a jazzy tone and a soulful element. After all, Angelina's roots are in jazz and the classics. Angelina does not have just one voice. She is known as the barefoot princess of 1,000 voices. She can adjust her style, tone, pitch, to any artist or song she is singing. It is a gift. She has many influences which she incorporates into particular songs when it's appropriate. These include artists like Billie Holiday, Etta James, Ella fitzgerald,, Amy Winehouse, Elvis presley,, John Legend, Lana Del Rey, and many more. As I outlined in my comment below, once you listen to several of her works of art, you will understand and you will be forever addicted. And by the way, Angelina ranges most of her music herself, as in this performance. I encourage you to listen to her other performance on AGT, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Another masterpiece of originality. If you are going to get a good idea of Angelina's Talent which you have already seen some of, I would recommend going back to the beginning on Norway's Got Talent when she was 7. I've seen many performances of BoRhap, mostly cringe-worthy, but this one is breathtaking. Would you ever have imagined that a singer could echo a Brian May guitar riff with her voice in one stupendous run? That was a REALLy great reaction. And so, you have a new subscriber. I'm really excited that you've finally discovered Angelina. I can promise you ONE thing : You're in for a ride. The way I see it (and most if not all of her fans) there is no artist just like her. The way she is able to adjust her voice (we call her the girl with the 1000 voices for a reason), her timing and her way of putting her own mark on everything she does.
