Hello. You remind mw od my driving style when I drove for Werner (fall 2004 - September 2009). Rarely ran a night run. Mad all my trips, with help from my dispatcher, as day trips. Start at about 4am and go until about 5pm so I could find a parking spot easier. Have also enjoyed the truck stops you pull in to that I remember using during my driving days. I was U.S. long-haul and Canada (made 5 of 7 provinces). Longest run: Edmonton, Canada to Laredo, TX.

Jack, I have learned much about the trucking industry and truck driving from you. I really enjoy your videos. Years ago I took two trips with a friend in his white/freightliner cabover. We went from the Los Angeles area over the ridge route to the bay area and back. Man did that thing bounce. I had to make a seat up in the sleeper to be able to take it. I saw some of the frustrations of the job from a driver's viewpoint. Things like trying to find where to put the load, being told "Oh we don't need that till next week", trying to get a load for the return trip. Thanks for the glimpse into your life. So your dad loved God and his son honors that. I believe my son will say that of me when I go. Many blessings, Tom

Sorry for ur loss. Me and my wife just got back from a 2 day road trip from my Drill Sergeants funeral. He's been a drill sergeant for over 25 years. He was also a Captain in other area's. He was like a father figure to me and other people. It shocked when I read the text from his wife who's like a mom. We get back from the road trip. Visiting the neighbor who watched our kids. And she watches them when there home cause there being home schooled. She lost a relative of hers. And she's on low income. And she was trying to saie her car cheap to fly up there. I told her no keep ur car we will drive u up there. She was very very happy. Drove all the way from Texas to New Jersey. Stopped at friends to sleep and shower halfway. And we stayed at my wife's Aunt's house while the neighbor stayed with family. We headed back to Texas the day after the funeral. Her family all pitched in $$$$$ for driving her up there. I refused but accepted it after they beg us to take it. My neighbor who I call mema was very happy took a selfie with me driving wife in the middle and her passenger smiling posted on Facebook stated love my neighbors also my family. She highlited Jesse is wearing a long sleeve shirt can u believe it. Cause I always wear shirts with the sleeves cut off or tank tops.

Hi jack if you want to fix that mirror problem buy some good locktite and next time your gona stop for 24 hrs take one screw or bolts one at a time apply the good locktite and tighten and let it cure for 24hrs they wont ever come loose again hope that helps you keep on truckin

Hi Jack, i use a Bipap machine it took about 3 months before i could really tell a difference. Keep it up better and deeper sleep.

I had problems staying awake and could not drive anywhere for more than an hour. I got a CPAP and it fixed my problem. I have been sleeping with a CPAP since 1998. I have worn out 3 machines and still going. I can drive now until my kidneys make me stop.

To me as a driver I’ve driven Volvos and freight liners,freight liners have more room in the bunk area and shifts smoother,that’s just my opinion.

Our local weather channels always hype things up, it always gets hot in the summer, cold in the winter, but, last winter was mild, just a 1/4 of snow last winter, it rains here, nothing unusual, it gets hot and cold, every season, every year, they do that for ratings, its crazy! I hope you’re packed about 10 of those sandwiches to take with you. I keep saran wrap in my truck under the seat just for that very reason. Also when I make sandwiches on the tailgate I can toss them on the dash for the drive and throw them to the kids. DON will be missed. RIP DON

When hungry for some good southern vittles and traveling I-75 in Georgia get off at exit 201 and go to Buckner's Family Restaurant. You won't be disappointed. Flying J, Loves, Pilot and TA are at that exit also. Buckner's is open for lunch on Thursday and Friday. They're open for supper on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
