You can tell in his voice how proud he is of it, it must have taken a lot of courage to show Arms, and us, what he'd made; he's known Arms for over 10 years now, but you always want to impress your friends, and you still want their approval.

Absolutely, it’s always a vulnerable moment sharing something you’ve worked on for a long time. The lovely thing is I don’t think he’s ever impressed Arms more or that he can be in any doubt about how much he did.

I love how proud of it he is. It was really wonderful to watch it all, I'm not much of a video games fan so seeing him do all of this just in Minecraft is really impressive. The engineer in him coming to life? I bet!

Yeah. I feel like this is what he did with that engineering part of his brain for those 3 and a half years. I wonder what he’s doing with it now? Other than building sketches, obviously. But he was doing that then too… Oh, and sets of course!

Had to watch it again today to escape from stuff stressing me in the real world. Life is sometimes just so argh. I am so glad that Hog shared this wonderful world he created with us! As Arms said, it totally feels like going on holidays. A magical place. Never thought a computer game could do that. But here we are. 😊 And thank you as well, for putting that video together! It honestly turned my day around from a completely miserable day to at least a little smile in the end.

Aww, so sorry you’re having a rough day. Life can indeed be argh. 🤗 Very glad me and Hog could brighten it a little. It is indeed a wonderful world. It was a marvellous escape editing it during the pandemic and lockdown. I definitely used it to escape from real life stuff too. I imagine Hog never knew when making it what a great escape it would be for so many people 💕

Oh my goodness! Hog may claim to have preferred acting to studying when he was in university, but he clearly has some aptitude for engineering... this is an amazing and delightful fantasy land he's built! 🤩 The "Sandcastles" reference was almost perfect, except that Arms didn't get jealous or violent. Hog making two little beds appear on the walkway so they can sleep under the stars (at about 16:38) and the "best friends" bit (about 43:38) are unreasonably adorable 😊 Thank you for preparing this "tour" video for us!

Just so sweet to see Arms being so impressed by and supportive of his friend. And yes, this absolutely shows that Hog could have been a brilliant engineer if he chose to.

@@SherlockedStorytellr No worries 😊 Yes, their friendship is so lovely - and Hog is super talented! I have to say, though - the world (the real one, not in Minecraft) is probably a better place for Hog having chosen Foil, Arms, and comedy over a career in engineering.

Just came across this and had to watch the whole thing even though I haven't played many video games. My (adult) son plays Minecraft and I'll come sit and watch, asking questions. He, too like Hog, finds it totally relaxing. But I had no idea what an extensive world one can build. Blown away by what he created! Did he say he made it in survival mode or he's just showing Arms around while they're in survival mode? I wouldn't have lasted a minute. 😵

He said he built it in survival mode which is just insane! I also wouldn’t last a minute! I imagine my brother trying to keep me alive as he has in many video games the way Hog does with Arms 😆
