I would love the signal play story with the cutscenes of that pig from the game and more to it, like him being upbeat at the starts and slowly have him say dark humor stuff and so on until the end of the game

I first saw news about this game after dev log #2 was released and was sad to hear it was for PS only. But i'm now so happy to hear PC isn't off the table, and a PC port is on the cards! The game looks great, and I am eager to see its progression!!

Really good scenery models, adds a lot of charm, consider hiding collectible crates around props to double up on the map ambience :)

Awesome video as always, I always look forward to watching your development videos. So cannot wait for this absolutely loved the original have so many found memories playing with my brother on the PS one I remember making teams with characters from Crash, Spyro, Rayman and so many other games I played growing up. So excited to play the remaster day one when it’s released. Any idea on whether it’ll go available to pre order on the PS store before it’s released? I believe they aim to release digitally first and then go physical after that. I don’t always buy a game both digitally and physically but I definitely will for this. Hoping they do a deluxe definitely or collectors edition as well standard

@@dragoon2334 It would be cool if the deluxe edition had 10 additional campaign levels with bonus medals and a boss fight. The final boss could be a 1000 HP emperor pig and the new levels could be based on multiplayer maps like pea drag, pigs in space, bridge the gap, or graveyard shift

you dont have to excuse yourself for making less videos. The most important part is the developement and dam this looks good already. Cant wait to play it, but take all the time you need. Since the Kickstarter Campaign was sadly not succesfull, you could consider Patreon. Me included, I think there are a lot of people who would gladly support your work directly

I have a question. Apologies if this has been asked before. I know you're including the original voice lines from the ps1 release. How will you be handling any potential backlash from some of the more...less well-aged voices? I personally dont believe any should be removed, but there probably should be a disclaimer at the start of the game, like what Warner or Disney do with their classic cartoons. Something like preserving the original vision, but acknowledging that these lines may be seen as a little bit racist in modern eyes. Not condoning anything, but also not taking anything out. Tl:dr - how will you address the less-PC voice lines in the game?

Its been a topic of discussion before but our intention has always been to leave the original voice work as is, yes its very much a product of its time but the stereotypes and portrayals of the pigs were never done with malice, it was everybody collectively poking fun at each other, across all languages! :)

looks a bit too stylized/childish for a game like hogs of war. The joke was the contrast between the serious killing and the pigs dying in a funny way. Now everything looks sunny, the pigs are funny and the contrast is gone

@@Pinstripe10 Hi Pin. Sorry if you already answered this, but what about the DUCK? The mission with the DUCK only had the function of running people over. Will anything else be added to it and I heard a while back that the hogs won't look so cute which I am all for. They are too cute which makes the game look like a kids game, but maybe from a marketing point of view you want this to appeal to kids. Whatever the case be that is the only complaint I have and am patiently waiting for this game since it is my #1 all-time favorite game EVER made! Thanks!

@@Pinstripe10 Yeah the only thing I was concerned about as well was the hog models. Too cute for sure but if it will look more realistic and/or gritty then that would be much better for all the veteran players. It would fit more in-line with the original.
