I feel like they're going to ruin it.. I want more spells, more animal interactions, not just catching them, more at hogwarts events, more things to spend money on. The ability to sell potions, a customizable shop with more interactive features, a room of requirements that has a specific area to grow plants that looks like a green house

Exactly like make it sort of like the Ezio trilogy for Assassin’s Creed where we see Young Ezio, More Mature Ezio, and Old Ezio. For this you could make the character a new student in the first game, then time jump a little bit to have ur character maybe work as an Auror or something interesting like that and maybe time jump again for the third game where he’s a bit of an old man and you see the ancestors of our beloved professors. Maybe even see a Young Dumbledore or Dumbledore’s grandfather or something. But definitely don’t let Hogwarts Legacy be a part of the new HP series cuz that’s just stupid. Make it its own thing.

What should definitely be included in the next part of HG Legacy are the following things: moral system more magic lessons and more effort to learn magic. more potions. more fantastic animals that you can meet and breed. npc's that you can interact with. the Ministry of Magic and Diagon Alley. Random events that occur in the game world...for example: dark wizards attack a village and we as students can help the villagers. Animagi ability to transform into an animal These are things that the second part definitely needs

And in Hogwarts Legacy the villagers don't do anything, they watch us duel and don't help, hopefully in Hogwarts Legacy 2, they will be more alert, and help us duel too

For me the most important thing is: STAYING AT HOGWARTS. There should be so many more quests in Hogwarts, you should be able to follow classes, build relationships, use the dorm room, more secret passages/rooms and mysteries to discover, play mini games or tournaments etc.

There's a few things that should be made clear bout this segment and the Hogwarts Legacy sequel. 1) This is obvious *CLICKBAIT* given this is an example of someone trying to pass off their wishful thinking as this is definitely happening levels of news about the game. 2) Which leads into the what we actually know and Im sorry to say, it's not looking good. Not only do we know that WB Games has looked into making it a live service game, which is their idea of how to throw a tantrum over how poorly Sewercide Squad did. Their illogic being "We put this much time and money into making Sewercide Squad and you, the consumers, caused it to bomb because you didn't like its live service aspects. So to punish you, we will make only live service games in the future and we expect you to pay us enough to make a profit off them." Which is yet another example bout how little sense the modern day consumerism is. But before going on that tangent, I will also add that not only they considered doing only live service games in the future due to Sewercide Squad bombing but they also assigned the creation of the Definitive Edition of Hogwarts Legacy/ Hogwarts Legacy's still upcoming DLC and probably also Hogwarts Legacy 2 to Rocksteady too. As in the current/ new regime of Rocksteady. The ones who only have one project under their belts and that was that hot garbage known as Sewercide Squad. Personally, I hope that Avalanche Software has enough say in the final product's outcome to make both of them worthwhile to get. But, let's just say, at this point, the wise move is to wait and see if it's worth spending any money on it at all as it is the very people who made one of the worst games of late (which is saying something) that WB Games brought on for Pete's sake.

As someone who wont be watching the new series (we dont need it, the films are a great piece of media that they just wont manage to beat) i dont care about syncing up with it. I dont want a harry potter game, i want a game grounded in that wizarding world, completely separate, as that makes it more unique, and personal. If i meet harry potter at some point in the next game, I'll probably stop playing because why wouldn't the game just become centered around him. Boring

1) The HBO series is going to be based on the Harry Potter novels and has nothing to do with Hogwarts Legacy other than the Wizarding World setting. 2) Hogwarts Legacy featured Ominus Gaunt, a member of the family Voldemort's mother comes from. Probably not a direct ancestor, but in the same family branch, a great great uncle most likely.

Imagine how bad the game would be if it syncs up with the main story line of the HP universe. Basically the story goes like this. 1. Harry find out he s a wizard. 2. Problems at home during the summer fights a big snake. 3. Problems at home during the summer. He finds out he has an uncle and that he isn’t crazy big twist. 4. Has a hard time at home during the summer. His name is selected to participate in a race full of 3 challenges and everyone has a grand time at a ball room dance. Etc. until you kill Voldemort you get the picture. I don’t think anybody really wants this as the game story line it would be a little maddening and drive some people bonkers thinking they could be a completely new wizard like before doing new things like before but bigger and better. My favourite part of the first story line so far I’m 56% done and completely beat Rookwood and Ranrok. But my favourite part I think would be taming the Graphorn. The lord of the shore. That was cool. I wonder who didn’t press kneel hahaha. I instinctively pressed kneel.

They should add a missable side quest where you can get the elder wand and it’s special ability is that it has instant spell cool down on all spells. They should allow you to pick a dark path or light path with their own quest line and add new game plus and allow you to only one bring one spell with you in the new game plus

I want more of what we got with Hogwarts Legacy. I just want to see the continuation of my characters storyline, as well as characters like Sebastian and Anne. I also want my choices in dispute to actually matter. Let there be a system where you can become disliked or hated by others just as easily as how you're loved and praised in the first game. The dialogue on the first game, while nice, feels pointless.

I highly doubt they will take place in the same timeline. Isn't HL and HP like 100 years apart, if not more? I think there will be easter eggs with quests or items that will be linked to the TV Show's lore, but that's about it.

I think this will flop! Unfortunately, we have a wizarding world that gives us lots of possibilities to tell other stories, however we know that executives etc. will always go back to the HP storyline. There's nothing wrong with that (it's his world after all), but JK Rowling fleshed out the world so much that you can bring in stories from other wizarding schools, wizarding jobs such as curse breakers, aurors etc. and there is so much you can do. As others have mentioned, more spells, more potions, more plants, more magical creatures. NPC interactions should be influenced by being muggle-born, half-blood, pure-blood, which makes it feel like an actual RPG. However I think what we will get is an even more dumbed down game for casual gamers rather than actual HP/RPG fans.

Co op would be cool, or multiplayer mini games like duelling, otherwise multiplayer wouldn't work in a Hogwarts Legacy game, unless it's being designed from the ground up but it may as well just be an MMORGP at that point.
