I must admit, an update like this had never even crossed my mind as I didn't think it was a possibility! It renews my faith that not only do Avalanche continue to listen to the fans, but that WB Games is also listening to Avalanche. I've said this in a few comments, but the longevity of this game will now be increased tenfold! It'll be interesting to compare the amount of players today (which is still over 20k on Steam) and when after the update is live.

This NEEDS to come to current gen consoles. PS5 alone constitutes a large segment of the overall community, and I personally have it on both PS5 and XBox Series X. But not on PC (my rig is a potato that needs to be replaced.)

YEESSS! The VAST majority of the games sales were on console. It doesn't make sense to leave out the majority of the community. Here's hoping, they keep that in mind for future update.

It would be nice if they can get it on a console, needs various agreements etc done first though. I could see it potentially on current gen, but probably not old gen consoles

Retro did say in his video and even i think the same thing, the modding can be possible for console as well just not now. I'm just gonna hope also Happy Wizarding Wednesday

I doubt the kit will be able to do it but I can see someone trying to make Quidditch in game ; though I can see wizard's chess, and other like mini games being done .

I’m stoked that avalanche is still trying to keep this game relevant but as a PS5 player I can’t help but feel disappointed that after nearly two years of patiently waiting, all we get is a MOD plug for PC…don’t get me wrong that’s great for the PC community but there is so many little things they could have included in this update to give to console gamers to. I’d have been happy to just have a new game + or even to just control the seasons of the game post completion of the main story 🤷🏻 maybe soon we’ll get something too

Looks like i need to concider getting a better PC then. Or hope and pray this comes to console. I doubt they will include any mods into a paid dlc however. The complexity of having to reimburse each individual creater is something I dont think WB would want to have to figire out.

This makes me sad. All I see is incalculable dev hours invested in something that I can never enjoy. 😢 Also we will never know how much longer that we will need to wait for a DLC and/or HL2 because this PC-exclusive feature took priority.

Why is it difficult to provide curated mods for consoles? Seems like it should not be that difficult. Consider Skyrim on consoles where you have a max amount of mods that you are allowed to have at a given time. I don't need to create mods, I just want some of the cool stuff others have created.

We got modding support before ng+. This is insane man, avalanche have no idea how to build a game after launch, I'm sorry they really don't. Ng+ becomes about 50% redundant with mod support, but the problem still remains, it's not on console. Seriously they are just dumb.

We need more interactions too, of course everything will comes slowly, but i think it was a missed point from the base game sadly. I mean, cosmestic will not bring me back to the game, but the dungeons yes ! And i would diiiiie, for buying stuff at zonko's and having this real immersion, with interactions and stuff

Totally agree, dungeons and questlines are a huge pull for the game. Never thought about buying at Zonkos and now, that's all I want
