You'll need the spell: Wingardium Leviosa. There is a difference with the spell Levioso.

Used wingardium instead of normal attack and is just 1000000x better

You need to use depulso to move the rock, makes it super easy.

*I just did this puzzle the wrong way.* I found the platform and found the ball but didn’t know what to do, all I knew was that it had a purple aura around it so I said “Hey, I have accio unlocked so I’ll pull it” turns out it’s way too heavy to lift out of its starting point. I was stumped on how to do it but because of how stubborn I was, I decided to brute force it and blast it with confringo. I noticed that it had enough firepower to just barely move the dumb rock and I did the most logical thing and spam the hell out of the spell to get it up the ramp and hug the rock so it doesn’t fall back. I blasted it over the first fence, pulled it the rest of the way to the bridge, but once it got to the top of the arch it stopped. My solution? Blow it up. Ran behind it and repeatedly blasted it with fire until it got over the hump and pulled the rest of the way down the bridge and bam. I did it wrong but it doesn’t matter because it still took it. *“These Merlin trials won’t get the better of me.” -My wizard, Richard Longstroke*

If you use the Wingardium Leviosa spell it's a snap you don't have to struggle with anything other than trying to guide the ball in the right direction because that spell as a pain in the butt
