It’s 0-9 from left to right the three outside numbers have to equal the middle number for example if the middle number is let’s say 21 and you have the number 9 and a spider the missing number will have to be 4 or the bird on a branch symbol. I hope this helps

Interestingly enough, I solved a different door puzzle and, after solving, found the answers hung on the walls in a nearby hallway. Not sure if they appeared after I had solved the puzzle, but Im looking for another door to test the theory that the answers are already in place on the wall. They're also either in an upside down or rightside up triangle as well so you know which is which. Update: the first door I did was by Mr. Moon. In the rafters above. I went back and did the first room in the lineup, (where it shows you how to do the puzzles vaguely), and wasnt able to find the answers on the walls anywhere, even after solving. I assumed since both doors were up in the rafters, the answer would be in the halls below like with where Mr. moon was. Incorrect. Perhaps it's just different for the first one and the next door will have the answers nearby again, but that's my experience so far.

If you find the arithema room (i think. Its the hogwarts version of arithmetic) you can find a cypher page. Also, DO NOT FORGET 0 is a number. That screwed me up a few times lol Fun game so far!

Actually the clue to these puzzles can be found as a paper note and a note on a chalk board nearby somewhere in Hogwarts. I could not solve the puzzle and was lazy to go through all possible combinations until I found these notes.

You can also find a cipher in the castle go across the bridge left from the court yard outside the main entrance once across go inside and right up the stairs and into rafters take another right there’s another door and there’s a box with a paper showing all the symbols number values

great visual help to identify the Harry Potter's Ancient Runes of the Runic Alphabet with one look: 0: Demiguise invisibility represents zero... (but just look at it, one fat Zero.) 1: Unicorn's One (single) horn 2: Graphorn's Two (dual) horns. 3: Runespoor the snake has Three heads (Triple-headed). 4: Fwooper the bird has 4 feather colour: orange, pink, lime green and yellow. (Or if you think it looks like an owl owls has 4 fingers on their legs.) 5: Quintaped is a 5 legged hairy beast. 6: Salamanders can survive 6 hours out of fire. (Or just imagine a six legged lizard.) (For one point to your house answer the question: how many hours can 4 salamanders survive out of fire?) 7: The Unknown represents seven... (I mean just imagine an octopus with 7 legs. Maybe a pirate octopus with one wodden peg, and an eye-patch) 8: This is easy... is it? yes spiders got 8 legs, but the rune actually references Acromantula, which has 8 eyes. O.o.O.o.O.o.O.o 9: Hydra with 9 heads. (Just don't cut off any, then it will be 8... or 10... or whatever, don't cut their heads off, makes counting much harder.. )
