What did you use as a guideline while building? Did you just have photo references from various films on hand to eyeball the overall shape and feel of it?

@@charlie.on.youtubeI took a few stills from the films but also there were Lego sets and other craft sets online that show a little more clearly what the shapes are for the buildings! It helped a lot when trying to figure out the layout of everything to make it fit.

You did it! Sweet! If you were to compare all of your builds and how tough they were to scale and get into detail, where would this one land?

Im so glad you saw this video so fast! I would say the size of this one just from looking at the reference pics looked like it was going to be the most challenging one ive done, however as i was going it seemed to be much easier than i had thought. The Far Far Away castle was 100% the hardest in terms of fitting what i could in because its so big. That being said, this one took much much more time for detail and double checking my references because rather than one large building, its a lot of smaller single buildings all linked together so i had to make sure it was proportionate! Also, tons of windows LOL, that definitely took a lot of patience

@uhhhaleah it sure looked like you had to exercise some patience lol that castle has incredible detail! If only animals and characters could be added. Maybe something the creators could have brought up to implement in future updates... like a dragon or hippogriff 😁

@@resurgence6169 that would be super awesome to be able to add people or more animals around! it would bring the builds to life for sure. would love to at some point be able to create perhaps hobbits houses (like in LOTR), it would bring a whole other realm of possibilities for the builds to be able to do!
