Honestly, one of the issues I found with running out of money was mainly because immigration was forcing rapid expansion. Once I got down the immigration office and set it to 'Tropico First', it slowed down to a manageable chunk without having to rapidly continue buying to keep up. Let's your exports bank up a bit. Toggle it as you need be when you want immigration 👍

With the Going Viral DLC, Mask production is insane. You can easily get 400k trade deals as early as WW era.

@@ignacio9813 it combos well with the new dlc opening high end trade routes. Get a pandemic going for the 400% mask bonus and never cure it while looping trade routes using the new trading post building

When play Tropico i preffer just build my economy almost without export, focus on internal consumption and production, it really work well + offices and almost half population is rich or something as this as result.

I think i remember of one of your video's (carrebean sky). If you can setup the reclaimer with industrial buildings with pollution it will make you alot of money aswell. So thats what i mostly do. Save up, build the reclaimer and the industry and then you have alot of money

Crocodiles require fish like hides needed for tannery. It is also a pasthrough building.

Any of you stuck on the chocolate factory campaign mission? been on it for ages and keep going broke. Tried to make tobacco plantations but then the soil degraded in the area so didn’t make much money then. The area that there placed is to small for other plantations so can’t get the bonus to stop soil degradation help.

No.... you need to focus on cocoa plantations and maybe place a different type of crop nearby.... then use the "Multiculture" workmode on the plantations to prevent the soil from degrading. Do the local citizens buy rum and cigars? Or do said items only bring in profit if I sign a trade contract?

@nichmon3221 for sure citizens will buy Rum at the Grocery or Mall.... not sure on Cigars if island citizens buy them. You will get profit if you export these items if you don't have a trade contract, it will just be exported at the base price per 1k. You can get more than the base price if you sign a trade contract.

I would check which values they are low on happiness... plus having too much population (which creates too much unemployment) can drag down your island happiness

You should always make enough housing + chappel/church and tavern food place where you are expanding, keeps happines high, the people visit 2 places and home between work, so you need to provide that for them, fixed this problem with me. Also try to build buildings your tropicans can afford to live in, i did this mistake building mostly apartments, which was too expensive for my poor tropicans.

Also check overlays food quality, faith quality and medical quality, and make sure everything is greenish, if they are red then they get unhappy.

You are right that tourism will make money (but can be a hinderance if you are attacked too much), also Edicts are can make money too but wanted to focus on the stuff internal to the island to making money for this video.
