Good Review. I just bought one, and I'd like to point out that you kind of glossed over the fact that, when my GoPro is installed on the Gimbal, there's no way to turn on the camera and still have access to the power port (of the camera). This looks like a major design flaw in the Gimbal. Instead of sending it back though, I'm going to try using voice commands to turn the camera on and off.

@@David-Kynaston I have indeed tried that, and it's not adequate for "real" work, where I'm moving around quite a lot and trying to get shots quickly. The phone app works for the gimbal because I only need to use it when I'm changing a setting, which means that I don't use it very often. But to try to use a phone app to control the GoPro on a regular basis doesn't work. I find that I'm just messing around with technology, but not being very productive. When I'm out shooting, time is important. I miss shots if things don't work quickly. I appreciate your opinion, but I do believe he glossed over the major design flaw with this gimbal.

You probably need to calibrate it according to the manual. There is no start / stop recording on this gimbal.

Single Dad Life Vlogs, Bahamas It’s awesome. I haven’t had any major problems with it. Just make sure to understand the steps before using it. Many individuals complain it doesn’t work properly, but is most likely user error. Play with the setting and find one your like. I have even attached it to a UKProPole and it’s awesome. Amazing work. If it breaks, buy a new one, they are cheaper than any other Gimbal.

I don't understand. The Hero 7 electronic stabilization is legendary and many calls it a gymbal killer. Why would anyone pair a gymbal with the Hero 7?

@@TheHybridShooter I actually think otherwise, after few years down the road the electronic stabilization will somewhat replace gimbal in limited situations (i.e. non-low light situation). I have also used Feiyutech G5 & G6 gimbal for GoPro so I say mechanical will be more versatile especially in low light, but if you're shooting in bright sunny day light I think electronic stabilization is good enough. Also, mechanical stabilization has its own downfalls as it is more technique sensitive, not compatible during speed shooting, and more maintenance care required. ' Low-light will always be a let down for electronic stabilization but electronic stabilization may be new future for most basic situations. Again, each stabilization has its own pros and cons.
