On the Hohner HA 114 model, each stop represents a reed. When a stop is up, the reed is "on" and when it's down, the reed is "off". By changing the positioning of each stop, you can create different combinations of sounds. This HA 114 model has 4 reeds - a Low octave, a natural Middle octave, a sharp Middle octave and a High octave or LMMH. Therefore, you can have a total of 15 sound combinations if you don't count when the stops are all down.

nice playing. I have an old 2 stop HA114 that i play around with. I looking to buy a "used golden grille for mine as it went missing mannnny moons ago.The reason i want "used" as it will definately look strange to have a new grille on it at the accordion is 30 plus years. so i want something to match it/worn lol. ty again.great playing sir!
