In my opinion,the best,affordable harmonica (for blues)is the Hohner Special 20. Surprisingly,U.S. 'developed' blues music owes a lot to Germany.I enjoyed this 'background' information. Regards.

i really like h harps, and normally like documentaries and these kinds of things...but just couldnt get through the first 30 seconds...played like bad SNL skit. perhaps more pics of harps and manufacturing to break up the monotany.

Was Mathias Hohner Chinese? I thought he was German. So why is so much of your stuff made in china these days??? Looking at your Corona II accordions...they used to be made in Germany. Now, they are chinese CRAP! Your Corona II Extreme accordions used to say "Made in Germany" on the back of the button board. They don't even say that anymore. Is that model chinese too these days?
