hoi4 put checks in place to prevent people from using ahead of bonuses on stuff too far ahead to prevent research rushing. but today we found a way around it so im showing you guys today in hoi 4 how to still research far ahead technology as germany really early on in hearts of iron 4. this hoi4 tutorial will cover how to specifically get the tiger tank by early 38 if done correctly and make you almost unstoppable! so please use this hoi4 guide for some amazing experiences in hoi4 multiplayer!

@@kashi9447 In single player early game I do a 2 Lt SPG, 3 Lt and 4 Mot. Then I expand it to a 40w 5 spg, 5 Lt, 7 Mot, 1 Lt SPAA mid game and switch it to mediums late game. The lights are cheap and you can field lots of them. Even as a weaker country. The AI doesn't make loads of tanks. So when you run into them encircle them and finish them off.

i had as soviets heavy 3 while germany had heavy 2...... and as i only had heavy 3 i only had like 6 tank divisions, but they were enough to beat the 24 german ones any time..... i had 30 more piercing and 30 more armour than the german divisions, he was pretty pissed of as 3 of my division beat 6 of his in like 2 days

@@angryface5557 in our mod you get 1000xp because of spain, i saved all of them for this tanks. also he did not fuck up his research he said it was never necessary to have heavy 3's as germany and that they are a waste of industry. at the end he could only reach the river line in the north while in the south romania and italy were busy defending the oilfields. and somewhere in the middle right in the marches germany lost its pride ( tigers) meanwhile allies managed to make an d-day so germany surrenered in winter of 1941 as bagration was made in late atuum while the german army was busy in the west

@@abdes6234 I play a lot of the Total War mod, which adds tons of more stuff to research, but they balance it out by giving you more research slots and adjusting times and stuff. Also the amount of stuff is supposed to make you pick and chose and make decisions instead of just trying to get everything you want like in vanilla. Idk how total conversion mods will hold up in the next update but for now anyways its my favorite mod by far.

@@zackbobby5550 the mod sounds nice, I don't play with mods on since my game is not "steam friendly" so I do my own data modification, give the playable countries extra research slots, just so I can balance the game out, if Germany has 4 slots I add an other 2 same goes for all the countries that do matter I add 2 for all of them , I do download mods and modify some of the game's data and code lines, but it takes tons of effort, always worth it in the end.

Hi did you know that if you apply the jugging research when its 60 days left you´ll get full 30 days of time. That is 24 days faster and also computer tech take´s few more days of.

The only problem im seeing is that germany still needs to research industry, especially to get dispursed 2 before you do autarky, so that you can use your bonuses on dispursed 3 and 4, not to mention, you still want to get construction 2 and machine tools 2

You dont get research bonus for industry from autarky. You get it from 4 year plan so you need to do other stuff in the beginning anyway to get bonus on industry 3 and tools 3

number 1 rule of hoi4: you never do dispersed, you do concentrated. dispersed industry's damage reduction bonus doesn't work as intended and never has, it's actually much smaller and hardly does it make a difference :/

I have a question, I thought if you switched research before it was completed the days were just lost. This implies that the days are banked if you go back to it, or am I missing something. Because if they are not banked this would still work, but it seems pointless to start researching until you have set up Heavy Tank research, free trade, etc.

u do miss out on that early war economy and joseph G to do this. so you might not have as many factories as you would like in the process. your tanks would be really good. but your infantry and airforce would be crippled since your industry would be smaller. you can also get the mech bonus from army 2 to go with the heavy 2s before war with France. maybe to counter this you might want to research the heavy sp AA 2 on the tiger and put them with your tanks. because in a multiplayer game your gonna get bombed in france with this strat and its gonna make your tanks half as good without aa in them.

Joseph G is not mandatory. Especially in MP games. Just use the attache to spain for XP and 10% war support to get war economy. You don’t need war economy as fast as possible since the difference in available civ factories for partial and war eocnomy in 1936 for Germany is like 3 or 4 civs. Won’t matter that much. Just get free trade, tank designer and silent workhorse THAN get war eco Joseph G is a waste ngl

The thing is, the USSR gets that too + you don't get any air, which is a big deal + you don't produce enough guns and artillery. So some big drawbacks, but hey, go nuts.

Hmmm. I dunno. I just prefer mediums for more offensive countries and heavies for more defense and counter attack (like Russia). Also other countries have chromium making them much more feasible. As Germany they have drawbacks like being slow and losing all their stats on rugged terrain and taking much more attrition as you roll across France, Yugoslavia, Russia. Being more expensive. Ect. Ima just stick with the PanzerIV and Hummel. Upgraded as early as possible they have a ton of damage and armor. Also by Barbarossa with the production costs I think I can have enough to overwhelm the Russian tank divisions in numbers if they built more expensive tanks.

you can outnumber them, but 1 soviet heavy tank will beat a few of your medium divisions, you will never penetrate them, he will plough through your tank division like they would consist of butter

Bro I have a better strategy to get them a little bit earlier without a couple of steps, basicky in this order: 1 ARMY INOVATION, 2: TREATY WITH THE USSR, RUDOLF PP, THEN AUTARKY, INDUSTRIAL ADVISOR, WHEN IT IS LIKE OCTOBER YOU WILL HAVE THE PP AND PUT PORCHE AND ITS GONNA TAKE YOU 620 DAYS GETTING IT ON JUNE 1938

You guys don’t watch or play any multiplayer? That’s been the meta for years. An as a Germany thats almost the only option against competent allies/soviets. Reason is that im MP Tank Mikro is the deciding battle and in that tank quality beats tank quantity. You can win with 15 heavys against 25 mediums because you can click them but they can’t click you.

@@leeclement5163 I’m not sure if you play the game. But that’s the short version from me for the comments. There’s actually many factors going into the outcome of a battle. Things like Experience of the Troops, Air Support, Entrenchment and Planning Bonus also play a big role. When I say you can click them, it means that the difference from heavy tank to medium tank alone is enough to win a battle without having to rely on the other factors mentioned. Obviously you need to invest more Production points in a Heavy Tank Division than a Medium Tank Division, therefore you can’t have as many.
