IMHO Saloniki gambit beter then pure charge through mountains to Macedonia. I was able to easily capture Kavala and even Burgas and Plovdiv (do not remember, city in center) with cavalry, with Bulgaria never sending enough forces to stop me here, while I hold like 8 their divisions in mountains with only 4 divisions.
