Justinian would be proud!. I sacrificed more then 50 hours of my life working on this.I tried to form Byzantium as Greece. It took so many attempts that I might have lost some braincells in the proces. But nonetheless it was worth seeing the best empire return in the world. Leave a like for JUSTINIAN!

@@someonethatlikesyou7713 doesn't really matter Italian except for Rome and some part of its south didn't identify as Romans by medieval period. People in chunk of Balkan to Syria on the other hand did identify as Romans as far as today actually. Not as many as it used to be in 19th century though. For Syria-Lebanon its mainly the Orthodox but still, but they do identify as Rum. Afterall they're former citizen of the empire legally.

Only if you allow the EEE to infiltrate the government. If you don't, you can still maintain the republican control and even run the country with Onassis as Prime Minister. Then you can still conquer Turkey, with the assistance of UK, France and Italy, and then rename the country to Hellas. But it locks you out of the Byzantine themed focuses.
