If I recall right, Finland also has a LOT of advisors, several of them genius ones. So if you form Scandinavia with it, all the core lands becomes death trap to AI where even weakest of your divisions can rip enemy tanks to shreds with bare hands as long as it's on top of your cores.

I think that's what the next DLC will be; Paradox did not give Finland a focus tree in NSB (giving trees to the Baltics instead), maybe implying they intend to do so in a future Nordic DLC

Scandinavia will be next, followed most likely by either the Yugoslav countries (Albania and Croatia in particular), or the middle east since Iran and Iraq played crucial roles in ww2 when it came to getting supplies to the Soviets, with Ireland put into one of these the same way Netherlands and Mexico ended up in MTG. South America will be the last place they do work in because historically only Brazil participated in WW2, with the other countries only formally declaring war on Germany when Berlin was days from falling.

@@ReikerForge I doubt Albania is getting a tree, for the same reason Austria didn't in Death or Dishonour. They only really exist to be gobbled up in the first few years. Scandinavia would be dumb too, considering our historical role of just being conquered in no time, but like has been said, PDX has a fascination for making Sweden beyond OP in all their games, so it might still happen, and Finland did have a role in the war, so they deserve one at the very least.

It will probably be the next one, I can totally imagine some focuses such as invading England for Denmark, a super cool resistance tree for norway. And some gustavus adolphus monarchy shit for Sweden... Finland is the most deserving of a tree though.

Denmark actual historical contributions to WW2 were pretty embarassing, but one of my favorite anecdotes about the "silent resistance" of the danish politicians and leaders, is that in 1942 Hitler sent a really long and fawning birthday telegram to the danish king Christian, to which he replied with a telegram saying: "My greatest thanks, Christian Rex.", and nothing more. This hilarious little snub made Hitler so mad that he recalled the German ambassador, and expelled the danish ambassador in Berlin.

As finland using the focus tree you can go communist or facist and gain an additional 10% attack and defence on core territory, as well as sisu.

Hey @stakuyi, i suggest you also try out the Hoi4 mod New Ways, it was just updated for the most recent by Blood alone, and has an unbelievable amount of focus tree's and alternate pathways for so many nations, even iran, the mod is focused more on World war 2, i do urge you to give this mod a shot, it's really great, Hell even the Generic focus tree is bigger then nearly any focus tree's in most other mods, can't wait to see you play it!

Wanted to try Denmark when I was done with China... Thanks, HEHE Edit: decided to pause about 20 secs in and go play my own a bit first to see where strategy would differ. It's been 140 days since they declared and they haven't actually attacked on land yet- just Norway's navy and mine schooling 'em in the straights(?)- but seeing as I didn't go red and won't have free manpower from hammerspace/hell I don't think I'll last if they actually attack.

Most of the good dlc is already incorporated into the mod, but you should get Lost Hills Expanded if you plan on playing brotherhood of steel factions since it adds a stupid amount of content, you'll have like 6-8 branches and 200+ focuses, I didn't count them all because there's so many it'd get annoying but it's a lot
