this shit so much bigger than Bambaata this shit been going on throughout the black community for decades. black families especially those heavily rooted in the black church have gone to the grave knowing about shit like this having never said nothing. i remember being in my early 20s having been involved with 3 women back to back to back who all had the same story about how they were molested as young girls by either the Boyfriend's of their moms or simply other family members. the shit is real. 💯

Poppy said in one interview that he had been molested at least 5 times. My question is at what point do you stop being a victim an start becoming a volunteer?
@londonsburningup8 жыл бұрын
You don't know what he was going through at the time!! And he already said bam was like a farther to him! He had power over him and poppy was vulnerable! Yo don't know shit about molestation so don't make them fucked up statements!
@SNICKERS908 жыл бұрын
I can see how it would be hard to understand how after someone is violated that it would happen again, or continuously over a period of time. But you have to understand the power that these sex offenders can have on someone. Especially when they are powerful, charismatic, and admired. It’s like you become trapped and end up in the same situations unwillingly. The offender can have a power over you, where you will always look for the good in them, even when they have violated you. That is how they are able to abuse so many. People trust them and their judgment. They make the victim look at themselves in shame instead of the offender. I understand it is very hard for the average person to understand if you have not been in that situation or educated on the matter. I am studying for my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy so I have been taught and trained on how these individuals minds work. The best thing that we can do for people like poppy is to support them in their decisions to talk or to not talk about their trauma and not dissect whether he was a victim or volunteer. Because even if he was a “volunteer” the experience could have still been traumatic for him. And brother, please don’t take this long comment as an attack or anything, I have been wanting to get this off my chest for a while and your comment/question stood out to me. Peace and Black Power.
@graffProdigy8 жыл бұрын
LOL That's just a horrible question tho... That makes the victim feel like he or she was doing something wrong. U gotta think!
@smooviosmooth8 жыл бұрын
I'm not talking about 5 times with the same person he said 5 different people. After once or twice you are no longer a victim you are a volunteer a participant. You have to start asking what is it about you that is sending off that kind of vibe? Where men want to have sex with you that's not normal.
@SNICKERS908 жыл бұрын
Or the victim can ask themselves, why do I always end up trusting people who end up abusing me? Sometimes after a victim is abused once by someone, they are prone to attract these offenders because they may become more trustworthy and lack in being a good judge of character. Just like a woman who grew up in an abusive household. Why do some of them attract abusive men? Even when they try to avoid these types of relationships, they still end up in them. Some decisions that we make are unconscious because they are based on traumas that we try to forget. I am sure that there are victims out there who end up becoming homosexual. But whether they were consenting or not, if he was underage it does not matter. A child can not consent to sexual acts with an adult. We don't know what really happened but one thing is that whatever encounters these men had with bumbatta were traumatic. whether they were adults or not.

Shalom Brother. We need your help exposing a current situation that is going on. We are from Augusta Georgia. A local teen was reported missing from Clarksville Tennessee on July 16th, working a construction job with some white boys. The mother states she has not been getting much cooperation. She believes Foul Play is involved. Police contacted her on July 20th stating they found a body that fits the clothing description of her son. They refused to allow her to identify the body saying it was beyond recognition and they were sending off for dental records. We just want some help to make sure that another one of our brothers do not go killed with no justice. Please help in any way that you can. And anyone else who is reading this that can offer assistance it would be greatly appreciated.
