The idea of the new album was born in 2010, during EP "Spadchyna" recording. Inspired by results of combining Belarusian ethnic motifs with heavy riffs , the band continued to move in this direction . As a result of four years' work the fourth full-length album "Znak Biady" (" "Sign of Misfortune") has appeared.
Album title is inspired by certain decline of national consciousness and indifference to people's roots - this is a sign of misfortune.
Songs included in the new album are performed and recorded so that every note, every word penetrates your heart, because they are all written from the heart. These are honest songs . Each song from the new album is one scenario from different ages.
Music created by the group's leader Jaroslaw Sapunov intertwines with the sounds of the native Belarusian word. Sound producing and engineering was made by bass-guitarist Alexander Volchek.
Album was recorded at studio "Box'87" by following members:
Jaroslav Sapunov - guitar, keyboards
Dmitry Rudovich - vocals
Irina Sapunova - violin
Alexander Volchek - bass
Oleg Kanzov - drums
Invited guests:
Helen Protsko (backing vocalist of "Scorpions")
Cyril Nikeev (Equinox, ex-Beer Bear, Moscow),
Konstantin Fomin and Irina Kremen (Belarussian State University choir)
Vitaly Borovkov (additional keyboards).
Mixing and mastering were performed at a recording studio "Feedback Studios" in St. Petersburg and Lisbon.
Album cover is a joint work of Agness Aragonskaya, Dmitry Rudovich and Irina Sapunova . Two covers were designed: a regular one and extended one with exclusive bonus.
Presentation of the album in Minsk is scheduled for April 28 at the Pirates concert hall.
