I own this and absolutely love it. It is very comfy and grippy but maybe won't last long. In a rocky terrain the midsole will get chipped away slowly from rock since it is on the softer side. Apart from it I still love this boots

I hear that one can actually go wrong with the GTX because some boots are not water proof even when GTX has been applied. In other words the presence of the renowned Gortex is not 100% of being waterproof

You are saying about the running shoes with gtx ,they do have problems with waterproof abilities

My Anacapa’s have leaked since day one. Very comfortable but disappointingly neither foot is waterproof.

They would be great for sunny days in the winter. With GTX waterproofing you will OK in some light snow, but you probably want to look at some insulated boots for winter conditions.

I am very unimpressed by the durability of these boots. Especially the sole. I would not waste too much money on something that will last short time.

I own Kaha 2 low as a winter city shoes. Definitely like them just because the top is made completely of nubuck leather and it looks much better than Anacapa. Now looking for midsize hiking boots and thinking about Danners 600 vs. Columbia Newton Ridge. Сделай пожалуйста обзор Даннерсов ))

Man, they are absolutely hideous, with that outsole! Probably functions well though. I’d want that outsole to be a very dark color, to chill it out a bit 😵‍💫

Their running shoes have the same super thick funny looking sole. Everyone said the same thing about their running shoes 5 years ago, and now they are the most popular running shoe on the market because LOOKS DON'T MATTER. Performance does.
