I've watched a few of the Cielo X1 reviews already. I'm sure this is a fast shoe, but it's not exactly the most aesthetic IMHO. Jealous you're watching the trials. I'll be streaming it on Peacock in the morning. During the 2016 trials in LA, I had the opportunity to manage the 35K timing strip. It was a lot of fun. You guys have fun too.

What a coooool video! Glad you had a lot of fun... but those shoes... defintely not my cup of tea designe wise :D I dont really understand what happens now to the rocket x2... do they do the same move like saucony and run the endorphine elite and endorphine pro simultan? Questions over questions.

In the same way the Endo Pro 3 and Endo Elite are totally different shoes that kind of do the same thing, so are the Rocket X2 and Cielo X1. I think the Rocket x2 is better suited at shorter distances. Now that the Cielo X1 exists, I think the Rocket X2 will be best up to the 10k/HM and the Cielo X1 will be best for the HM/M. It’s quite subjective though; I don’t feel the Rocket x2 has enough cushioning for me to take it to the marathon, but the Cielo X1 does! Other runners may prefer the slightly firmer feel of the Rocket X1.
