Just got a pair of these. Impressed with the durable feel and build. More rugged than the Anacapa boots i have been using. Good review, thanks.

Brought my kaha’s to Kilimanjaro and they sustained some pretty rough use for the 7 day hike/climb. And they really proved to be durable. And quite warm compared to my friends leather boots. For climbing rocks / sharp stone edges the sole is a little soft for my liking - I think that’s the biggest trade off for all that comfort. Also I would love to see a test if they can fit with a C1 crampon. I have a suspicion that the sole is too soft/flexible for it to work. But they may surprise again ?!

Thanks for sharing all of that! I have not personally tested any crampons with the Kaha 2. Let me know if you try!

found in reviews: "I can confirm a design defect in that the tongue is too short to accommodate lacing through the top eye hooks. But I find the boots to be comfortable when lacing without using the top eye hooks--comfortable, that is, for casual wear, but not for hiking. Without using the top eye hooks, the boot is simply not stable enough for the rigors of hiking." - could you comment pls?

Hello, For me, i did not have trouble lacing to the top of the eyelets. They are stable even without the top eyelets as well.

Hi man! ) Boots still okay? What do you think, for hiking 4-6 days and backpack 12-15kg it will be good choose or not?

Thanks for the review. How to spot fake Kaha? I saw them on a store where it is sold for 69 usd.

Hey Paul, thanks for listening. I have not personally run into that problem. I would suggest sticking to the bigger brands names like REI/Backcountry or even purchasing them directly from Hoka. Thanks!

Is the surface leather synthetic or animal? Otherwise, thanks to Hoka for solving the pain in my feet on long treks.
@MountaineerJourney2 ай бұрын
The surface is Nubuck leather, the synthetic material is weaved in throughout the tongue and laces parts of the boots

@@MountaineerJourney thank you for the information, I wish they were synthetic

Hoka shoes or boots are always just a little to tight for me.
@MountaineerJourney3 ай бұрын
They can be, I am reviewing the Anacapa right now and they actually are a little tighter than the Kaha (Kaha are more plush). I find the Kaha to have a good amount of space compared to most boots. Thanks for watching and your feedback!

@@BrianHuerta. They run true to size. I'd go with 10.5 if you wear heavy hiking socks
