Just got the Mach 5 and enjoying it. I love simplicity in daily trainers. As a bigger runner, training with played rips up my calves/soleues muscles. Looking forward to more of these simple daily trainers from companies.

I like this Hoka Mach 6! I tried it on at fleet feet and the foam feels super soft and bouncy. Very lightweight.

I tried both on in store this week, wanted fast tempo no plate… the Mach is definitely comfier and I’m a loyal new balance girl usually. The upper around the toe is odd in the new balance…

Loved the Mach 5, durability was surprisingly good given the lack of rubber on the outsole. Will definitely look to get a pair of these at some stage.

The Mach 5 is one of my absolute favorite shoes and have done just about every type of run in them. The only bummer was how flat the foam felt after 250ish miles. Hoping Hoka got the new foam to hold up better! Glad they kept the price the same.

Mine felt flat after 200 kilometers. I guess being 94 kilos helps with that. Really comfortable shoe though. For example I also have the Novablast 3(not the biggest fan of it), but the foam still has some response even after 300km.

Sounds like they didn't screw up the new version of my most fave shoe 🤞Also looking forward to the Mach X2 later this year. I'm not sure that the Mach X is just a Mach with a plate in it though - it's higher, heavier, a little but clunky, but I've grown to love it for easier days.

I'd be curious to know if these have a longer lifespan than the Mach 5. Yes, there is a rubber outsole but the Mach 5 foam seemed to die out at the 250 mile range.

The only Hoka shoe i can get on with is the Rocket X2 and I absolutely love that, the others just feel dead to me (I think the Cielo X1 may be good too), midsole seems rock hard and the fit is too tight on the foot and gives me pins and needles

I have the Mach 5 and enjoying it very much. I use it only for my shorter faster runs. The Mach 6 looks like a completely different shoe. Not sure that I'm gonna try this one.

Nothing like the Mach 5. The 6 (Wide) has a firmer ride and higher stack. My tendon plate injury returned after two weeks running on them. Too bad. Now I have to search for a alternative

The Mach 5 is actually one of the most durable shoes I've ever owned. I have 750km on them and they still feel amazing. The 5 was amazing, so I have high hopes for the 6.

Basically a little solid puck gets super heated and they inject gas so it rapidly expands. The pucks are very small, they fit in the palm of your hand.

Supercritical foam.... Aka EVA with nitrogen??? I'll be honest guys, the Mach 6 looks and sounds rubbish but you're both trying really hard. My review... Looks rubbish. Same midsole. Huge stable base which no one likes. Won't last beyond 300 miles just like most of the Hoka Eva midsole/ outsoles
