Superblast 2 is a hot item. All over the world is like that . Even in my country , it was sold out after 2 hours of launching at asics flagship store .

Size up for me. I usually wear US12-12.5, but I went US13 in these and perfect. You need plenty of wiggle room at the end, a bit more than a thumbs width, to be comfortable on longer runs etc.

Great video mate - top notch. Deserves way more views. Thanks for the photos of the flagship store, really great to see. I see they are still producing the Japan only available S4 - and in some new colourways. Sold out in NZ pretty much the same day. I was lucky enough to get a pair and have posted a video on my review after some miles. Keen to hear your thoughts.

It’s ridiculous how it can be sold out within minutes

Great insight, especially on the true decides I’m in between 10 1/2 and 11. This makes me think I should go 11.

TTS to size for me in UK 11.5.

Hi, what size would a UK 12 be in Japan? I have a relative travelling out tomorrow and want them to get me a pair!
@RunningInJapan15 күн бұрын
@@AWright300 UK 12 is Japan 30.5 cm at ASICS. I wish him luck and hope they’re not sold out. That’s actually a pretty big shoe size so he may luck up in getting a pair.

What's with the display of the Hibiki???? Does it represent you are in Japan or just merely showing off.
@RunningInJapan27 күн бұрын
It's just there for no real reason. I have no place to put it. I'm a Japanese whisky specialist and writer. I have no more cupboard space, and when I tend to drink something, I happen to leave it out for a long time on those two shelves either side of me in my office. instagram.com/gentlemansclubwhisky/

Its nice but the stiffness is too much and because this gets boring after a while, this also change the natural running mechanics sometimes it feels like i'm running on two bamboo sticks ...
@RunningInJapanАй бұрын
Do you think they will loosen up and "break in" over time?
@user-sx8rv5pz7uАй бұрын
@@RunningInJapan Not much,the stiffness remains and the midsole becomes a little bit softer over time,at least with the SB1, but the SB2 hardly differs in terms of feeling
@bigchief2331Ай бұрын
I don't find stiff at all , very bouncy and responsive. Never had a shoe that propels me like this before.
@user-sx8rv5pz7uАй бұрын
SB 1 and 2 is stiff has no flex, thats 101% fact
@bigchief2331Ай бұрын
@@user-sx8rv5pz7u oh right yes you are correct there. But that doesn’t bother at all. It’s the bounce and propulsion that I love.

The best flagship store in Japan, in Tokyo. I hope the White Color Way of Superblast 2 would still be available until December 2024 and the release of the Asics Novablast 5.

Hello bro. May I ask why you upsize from 27.5 cm to 28 cm for this SB2? 27.5 cm don't fit well?
@RunningInJapanАй бұрын
@@Vritility it runs small. Also, I had a bad experience with a 27.5 Novablast 4. It gave me runner’s toe because it was too short. I’m still currently recovering from that injury.

@@RunningInJapan Hey man, not quite true. I lived and worked in Japan for years, with a Gaijin card and everything, and I shopped in that same store and got the discount during that time. I just showed my passport to the person at checkout, and they never asked if I was actually living there or not. Once a foreigner, always a foreigner when it comes to Japan! Try it next time 🙂

@@davidrogers7787 I suppose I could do that, but that's not really being honest with them. I'm not trying to sound high and mighty by not doing that and taking advantage, but my integrity means a lot to me, I'm not going to start doing that.
