Would genuinely love to see TBH do a review of Tyler’s album Call Me If U Get Lost. It’s right up his alley and I know he hasn’t had the best things to say about Tyler in the past

hey TBH, i remembered last time u mentioned u would like to get into more rock. im not sure if u would like this but i really love their music n would love to hear what u thought of them. i would recommend, "Young the giant" indie rock band n "beach goons", a garage indie rock band. i would suggest "Late night frequency" also, its a band from my home country, Malaysia, their songs r synthwave dance pop music. i appreciate the content n keep it up, i always can't wait for ur next videos

Yo TBh my first ever hip hop group from the 90s till this day and always will is A Tribe Called Quest. I don't know if you ever listened to them but you should hunt for their records. They're the only reason why I'd want to start collecting vinyls of my favorite artists

It's the double-edged sword of the barrier of entry being so low. Any inspired person whose willing to spend some money on a computer, phone and mic can make music and it's nice that possible true artistry isn't being held back but low barrier to entry means it's a lot of frauds and shallow creators in the space cause normally the passion you'd need to weather the struggles of breaking into the space doesn't need to be present anymore which in turn still means it's hard to find passionate artist today as it was yesterday but for separate reasons.

There are new artists that still care. Rod Wave - Nostalgia is one of the best albums I’ve ever heard. Other artists are more focused on singles right now and pushing that one song hoping that it carries their projects. Fans also move on faster than before and there are too many artists to listen to right now in general. I’m not streaming everyone’s music, especially if it sounds the same as other artist I already listen to.
@TyroneDismuke5 ай бұрын
You know what's funny, they aren't even streaming the music. They pirate it from KZbin yet they always calling other people broke

This reads to me like a Boomer take from a Millennial. Having to physically buy CDs back in the day, didn’t make the music was better?? lol We’ve been downloading music since the mid-2000s, are we saying there’s been a steady decline in music since then?

To be honest while they are at fault it’s not the creators fault entirely. It’s mostly the major labels pulling strings for profit making money off algorithms and streaming. Just like gaming, greedy investors force the industry be saturated

I'mma be honest hip hop is not that bad but it is oversaturated and only the mediocre is getting praise, and it suck that u have to dig deep to find good music now. But I don't mind the evolution, i like how some rappers are prioritizing creative, uniqueness, and fun rather than lyrics.
@beepimspidaman5 ай бұрын
Also it's not that deep and Ian is just having fun. He's not lil Mabu, he's not slim Jesus, and he's not jack Harlow. He's just making music that he likes, and we shouldn't shame him bc his white. Babytron, yeat, and Ian and example of good white rappers of this generation.
