Funny how in every halo game,when ODST drop from cruisers to surface,some would die.So it's weird in this game,all of them survived the drop.Maybe because their cruiser was in earth orbit?I don't know

I haven’t tried this on co-op yet because I only recently discovered this in solo and I don’t know if it changes in co-op. If it’s identical to solo, this mission becomes hilariously broken. In the starting area, after you eliminate all the Covenant, there are two marines with rocket launchers that spawn right where you first appear in the starting cutscene and they will move into the plaza and hop on your tank if there are spare seats. If not, you can just do some weapon swapping. This means that you can potentially have all four marine passengers on your tank armed with rocket launchers right as move out of the first area. Fast forward to the rotunda with the three shade turrets and the phantom that drops off the fuel rod grunts; if you enter the area from the far left path, there are two beam rifles on the street corner before you enter the area. In addition, there’s a fuel rod gun with a whopping 20 shots in it that you can find around the corner from the parked spare tank. There’s also a third beam rifle in the last area before you abandon the scorpion which is off to the left from where you enter the area. And of course, there’s the rocket launcher and sniper rifle, not to mention another marine with a rocket launcher in the gauss turret tower. Imagine all of this being available in four player co-op where all four players can carry a launcher and a sniper/beam rifle into the holdout section... Edit: The two rocket launcher marines from the beginning do despawn once you get the checkpoint before the section with the three shade turrets so if you’re doing co-op, have players relieve them of their rocket launchers before that happens.

If you destroy the tops of the barriers then you can move the tank all the way up to the door. Then you can demolish the covenant at the edge of the door. I have seen someone Moving the tank any further, but it requires a 2nd tank and some effort, so I just dismount.

At the start I prefer to take one shot at the first wraith, book it to the tank, clear out the area, then arm two of my tank Marines with rockets.

Hokie, I'm sure you know this already, but when you dismount the tank to meet up with Dutch, you can actually destroy that giant metal wall blocking your tank's way up the road. Do that, drive over it, and then use the extra firepower of the tank, the marines, and the machine gunner to your advantage when the Covenant open the door. You wouldn't happen to consider this an exploit, though, would you?

Perhaps - You can, but I think it’s more trouble than it’s worth. You already have your own firepower from the Scorpion, plus stopping to pick up the rocket launcher tends to be a bit dangerous.
