This is a tough place to play at night?! ODU?! 22k people, half of which are Hokies?! Against a 3rd string freshman QB that never completed a collegiate pass until today?! I love Coach Pry but there are certain expectations that come with this program and the heights we reached over the past 30 years. We need to get back to the days of beating LSU, A&M, OSU, Texas, ranked Miami teams. We are struggling against G5 teams and lost to a team that was picked last in the SEC and just lost to Ga State. Where we are is not good enough. I believe Coach Pry can get us there but let’s keep it 💯 Bowen needs to step up or be replaced. Today was a W but more so because of talent from players like Drones, Tuten and APR then schemes and play calling. The body of work we’ve seen is in the coaches. Coach Pry can do it but unless we get real regarding the state of the program, Rutgers and Miami are going to open up a lot of hurt in us. Let’s go Hokies!

I’d say it’s more of an indictment on the state of our program than a tough place to play. Since 2014 we’ve steadily fallen. Last year’s progression gave us hope. This year’s returning production sparked optimism. The results of the last 3 weeks have shown we’re still far from where we want be

We suck. We are not playing like a 1-A school. Coach Pry is a "Bullshyter"" and a damn good one. We are playing loser teams and barely winning. And he is just excited and pleased at everything. We could lose to the School of Deaf Dumb and Blind. And he would like what he sees. Be excited. We are not even close to who we should be. 10-1 we lose every game from now on. Drones did not play well. Everyone is seeing that now. We're going down the rest of the season. Watch and see.
