I'm new to airbrushing, but have some extensive work with different types of art, and I have to say, I hope I can get that good! Best flaming skull video I've seen! Awesome job man

Can watch this over and over. I have a bunch of airbrush gear but lost interest in it. After seeing this video made me want to get back into it. I have a Iwata Custom Micron CM-C,Mike Learns MOJO3, Iwata c-plus, Talon, Iwata Eclipse hp-cs and few other brushes. Lots of wicked paints, all of mike learns stencils that he sells on his site plus all his videos beside 3 of them don't have. After buying all this plus two compressor just lost interest cause i had problems with paints and air pressure so just gave up. But now going to give it a second try and try to learn to be more patient and practice a lot. I find to after a few minutes my hand starts to strain. Find it hard to actually use. I need to find a way to hold it that doesn't strain my hand. Anyways love the video. Hope i can pull something like this off in the future.
@schenoy17 жыл бұрын
Have to build up stamina in the hand! Any unusual work is going to strain any muscle til you get use to i. Do for a few minutes ,stop as soon as you feel strain. Do that for 3 days, then add a few minutes. makes sure you rest, take some advil and ice your hand after. Just gotta build it up.

hey amazing work, got a question I am new to airbrushing can you tell me what the name of the machine is you are using for your skull stencil and would I be able to cut multi layer stencils with it?
@hokuspokus10 жыл бұрын
It's a vinyl cutter. Mine is a Graphtec. Check out the Roland Camm-1 machines. And I'm using paint mask material to cut out my designs. I use Corel draw and Flexi Sign programs. You can set up your layers on the program with registration marks. They have videos here on KZbin about registration marks. Hope this helps my friend!

I love how the eyeballs show up in the sunshine! That's cool, no doubt. Well, it looks like I am going to have to rethink some designs I had. Was just going to do blue flames on black background. Now I want to do more. Do you have one of those cameras you can clip on your hat? The view is superb, almost like being there. Your artwork is incredible! Curse you for making it look easy!
@hokuspokus9 жыл бұрын
xenubarb Aww thanks! Yes, I was using a go pro camera on a head mount. If you email me at joelcangiolosi@yahoo.com I'd be happy to send you the files to the skulls I used on this project. If you don't have your own vinyl cutter you can get your local sign shop to cut them. Make sure they use a paint stencil mask. Cheers!!!
