Actually, 1 author put Jagi as his favourite and the other placed him at 3rd of his top 5 villains. It was the voice actor of Ken from the original anime who stated Jagi was his least favourite haha.

That move is a reference from the original anime/manga. When ken and jagi trained as they were young jagi always cheated and shot nails to ken. He was always jealous of him and kinda feared him too. That's why he uses guns so much. He has a really small part in original series though.

@@tazika3559 no, Jagi never feared or was jealous to Kenshiro. He uses weapons and tricks cause he has a strong belief that you must do whatever it takes to achieve victory. Also has a strong belief that younglings cannot surpass their elders, hence why he hates Kenshiro so much, and hated him even more when he became successor instead of him or Raoh(he knows Toki should've been the successor too but knows as well Kenshiro was the most inexperienced).

Actually he never forgot his training. He was just too shitty at it in the first place. In the anime, manga, and the 1986 movie he uses hokuto shinken.

+mike george He was the soul reason everything kicked off in the 86 movie. Martial Arts (military science ) is just as much about influencing the path/minds of others as it is about physical combat. Jagi had the successorship to hokuto shin ken on a plate. He probably knew that Ryuken would disagree with passing it on to Raoul (cancelling Ryuken ) and that Raoul didn't want to spend the rest of his life kneeling before statues with all that power. With ken out of commission (after Jagi influenced Shin ) Jagi was the most powerful Hokuto shin ken school member alive. (Raoul quit the dojo, so even though he could squeeze Jagi, he gave Jagi the title. Jagi is (in the hokuto anime world) extremely dangerous.
