Lo importante es mantener una conversación, hablar sin miedo. Cuando te expones al español y no piensas en los errores, la fluidez aparece de repente. Charlando y charlando, haciendo preguntas abiertas y sabiendo cómo cambiar de tema. - Cómo te fue en el cine? - Pues muy bien, fenomenal, pero Cambiando de tema, ayer adopté a un gatito precioso. Brenda is the best teacher because you are always learning on two levels with her. She always teaches about some aspect of Spanish while actually speaking clearly in Spanish at the same time. Even if you dont always understand the point she is making you are still sharpening your Spanish listening skills just hearing her speak!

Holà Brenda ! muy interesante como siempre, pero deberiamos saber muchas palabras, vocabulario, para hablar de manera fluyente como lo digas, y es nuestro problema cuando empezamos (como yo)a hablar un idioma. Ensayo enriquezer mi vocabulario ...Abrazos y muchas gracias

This is useful because I'm trying to understand spoken Spanish. I can distinguish every word you say. Sometimes here in Colombia I will listen to someone talking and I cannot distinguish even one word, while others I can understand a little better, especially if they talk very slowly. But native speakers here run all the words together so I'm pretty much lost even though I know a fair amount of Spanish from studies.
