@@SlyJinx thanks. In truth there’s not much I like about how that record was made. Including some song choices. It was obviously David’s feeling that this direction change would take them to ‘another level’ when in practise it lost some fans. I am somewhat sympathetic to the fact that it’s difficult for any producer to come in and carry on a signature sound that another producer has established. But the band and I worked hard to establish that sound for the band, and, as it turns out, tossing that so aside wasn’t a great call.

The very same thing happened to me in Junior Miss Softball. I was trying out for the catcher position. The third baseman threw the ball up into the air, and I couldn’t see it bc the sun was in my eyes. I just closed them and stuck my glove up and gripped when I felt the ball hit.
