Mr. Wittman...if this is really you. Man, how I wish you would've produced the VOB album. Great songs...just too polished. I think it's a good album, but with your production; I think it would've been massive!

@@SlyJinx thanks. In truth there’s not much I like about how that record was made. Including some song choices. It was obviously David’s feeling that this direction change would take them to ‘another level’ when in practise it lost some fans. I am somewhat sympathetic to the fact that it’s difficult for any producer to come in and carry on a signature sound that another producer has established. But the band and I worked hard to establish that sound for the band, and, as it turns out, tossing that so aside wasn’t a great call.

I thinks its great, all these young reactors, are loving the music I grew up listening to as a teen. Modern music cant compare, to a time when there was no computer tricks, or auto tune, you had to have real talent, back in the day.

This is Charlie Blackmon’s (CF for the Colorado Rockies) walk up music. And they always cut the music off at the “tonight!” part. And everyone at Coors Field yells “tonight!” when it cuts off. It’s funnier in the later innings when people get a bit more drunk.

I'm thinking you should probably check out Huey Lewis and the News and their album "Sports" (1983). Four top-ten singles from that album alone. Nineteen top-ten songs overall. They were big hit-makers in their day.

The very same thing happened to me in Junior Miss Softball. I was trying out for the catcher position. The third baseman threw the ball up into the air, and I couldn’t see it bc the sun was in my eyes. I just closed them and stuck my glove up and gripped when I felt the ball hit. Only difference: instead of being benched, I heard the coach say That’s our Catcher!!
