There are a few American bands who were HUGE abroad but never quite got their 'due' back home. Black 'N Blue is such a band as was: Manowar, Crimson Glory & Cage. When I travel abroad I've purchased their shirts and talked with fans. Black 'N Blue had some big hits in their day but what's interesting is that their name is generally 'forgettable' in comparison to other band names then. This is significant because "name recognition" mattered in an era that was extremely competitive and cut-throat.

I was holding on to 18. I’m 54 and at 18 she was way too young. We had nothing to talk about. Plus I couldn’t keep up. I had to let go of 18. Good while it lasted.

As usual with small places the music's too loud and the vocals are too low I find this is a problem with a lot of bands playing in the small places and of course I get kicked out of a lot of places because I criticize the bands because their music's too loud and their vocals are too low I like the music but I also like to hear the vocals
