If you want more XG and also get a sense of their talent and versatility here are some song suggestions: Winter Without You. The First Take version of is a must see as well for the live vocals Left, Right Howling Shooting Star Grl Gvng . The MV is only half the song so watch their dance practice video for the full song. They also have a video where they perform the entire song in sign language Hesonoo & X-Gene Dance Performance. This one showcases best XG's talent and versatility They also have three series called MOVE (just dancing), and the TAPE (rap line) and VOX (vocal line) which highlight the members individually, in duos or the entire line.

So when I first got into K-pop, XG was the group that got me into K-pop although XG is not considered K-pop. The genre of music there’re under would be X-pop which stands for more of a global genre of R&B/hip-hop. They are an all Japanese girl group, but based out in Korea. Which that is probably the reason why a lot of people think they’re K-pop. But 95% of their music is all in English, although these girls are trilingual can rap in Korean English and their native tongue Japanese. Their fandom name is Alpha to truly enjoy their music from the very beginning. You should check out their debut song 🎶 Tippy Toes followed up by mascara, shooting star, left right & the list goes on. Technically four members are rappers, but as you can see, they can all rap and there are three main singers, but they can all sing as well as dance amazing. Which I would suggest to watch all of their dance practices. There’s nothing these girls can’t do. They are amazing. But if you truly wanna get to know them and their story, you should check out their documentary extra extra

Bad villain is also another group I like and I agree with you. This is not the song that got me hooked at first. You should check out hurricane if you like that I’ll suggest more to you…. But yes, you should give them a chance. I’m sure you’ll like their music and their dance practices are off the chain. These girls can dance like no one else.

​@@jaycee_cos92XG isn't K-pop but uses the K-pop system to promote their music. XG change the way the K-pop industry works. Now, a lot of K-pop girl groups (not gonna name any names you reacted to some of them) are following XG formula. XG also introduced K-pop to people who never listen to K-pop or heard of K-pop, but girl, you don't know how much hate XG receives from K-pop fans. Especially in South Korea. As a matter of fact, XG was once the MOST hated girl group in South Korea (probably still is) just because they're all Japanese from a Japanese agency from Japan. If you know the history of South Korea and Japan, then you know why.

XG is basically the most talented gg currently with due respect to Babymonster, Aespa, Itzy, Meovv etc. 7 members all have superb vocals, 4 rappers who are peak (Cocona, Jurin, Maya and Harvey) and they dance like a dance crew (main choreographer is Selina Lalau and The Lab and Kyle Tutin has choreo’d some of their tracks. They only work with the best in class like Chogi Seok (Visual Arts and Direction). Would suggest you start with their early Shooting Star and Left Right and then work forward for there. Their new mini album Awe contains 5 certified bangers: Howling, Something Ain’t Right, ITKYK, In the Rain (R&B Song of the Year) and Is it Love.

AleXa was originally a YT cover dancer. Interestingly, her father is American and her mother Korean adoptee who never even learned Korean, so she came to K-pop as basically a complete stranger even though she has Korean blood, but she is so good. She also recently won American Song Contest, so she is a very interesting blend of America and Korea. She is also very funny if you catch her in interviews or such. She had a futuristic android concept, and is one of very few K-pop stars to have a screamo metal song version (her debut song Bomb performed with the band Diablo).

It’s a little tough with BadVillain they set a sound pre debut and haven’t given it to us since debut. They did extend one of the pre debuts to a full song, but the debut self titled song was so different, they just released a comeback that is more like their pre debut… but they only have 4 full songs right now so there isn’t much in way of a showcase. But they are less than a year old and I have hope for them

@@jaycee_cos92 I strongly suggest you see their dance practices or performances. They are _beasts_ when it comes to dancing. Several of the girls were professional dancers or even choreographers before going into idol training, and the other girls are not falling behind much. Notably, their main dancer Emma was actually coaching XG (you can get a glimpse of her in their documentary). Hurricane and Badtitude are both very different from Badvillain, as well as from each other. But if you don't see them dance, you haven't seen them yet.
