My Dad bought an HK 1968 Kingswood 161 in 1972... white with a black interior and cloth inserts on the front bucket seats and rear bench... lovely car.

My uncle bought a brand new HK premier 186 trimatic from Muirs it was blue with black interior Ferris push button radio .As a kid I would kneel on the back seat and look out the rear window, he drove it twice around Australia back when the nullubour was dirt and most of the roads were dirt as well without a single problem....he traded it in ten years later on a UC torana

Would have been a two speed Powerglide. Trimatic was very late build HT, on.
