What ended up being the problem here? My Ute has just come up with the code P0403 egr circuit 🤷‍♂️

The EGR sensor was stuffed, was the second one as well, they are well known for this, they are shit quality. $700 for a new one, so not cheap

Do you have the link or model number of the bt model you used?

Sorry its made in china so no model number, it called an OBD2 I got it from Aliexpress.com cheap as $6 works great they only work on an Android OS

I had to replace the EGR sensor, something I was hoping not to do, cost me $800

Where is The sensor mounted in The engine bay? Is it The Black valde thath sits on top of The bil metall housing with The spring and valve? I have p0404 fault code but it wount get in limp mode... sorry for bad eng. Im from sweden :)

White spirits, after a soak in Oven cleaner. Works well.
