Bloody lucky that just draining it got it running again

Very lucky, I was only driving slowly when I hit the deep puddle, plus the engine may have quit firing just before it gulped all water in. Car is running fine today. I got lucky. But also I could not find one alloytech engine that had been destroyed from water ingestion and I can't be the only one.

Hi mate I have the alloy-tech in a 05 statesman [ex limo] 550000ks on her. Hope all goes well 4 u & not too much damage fingers crossed ! cheers from the sunshine state .

Damn, bet you bent a few rods if no broken. Think you know it too. Sorry mate, your engine gagged on the water it hoovered. Might be time to figure out how to put one of those 3600’s in it with a reduction box on it
