Holden VL Turbo Commodore Build - Engine, Box and Tailshaft Install

Finally dropped the engine in the VL Turbo build and it looks mint!!!

I'm fitting a Tremec tr6060 magnum to my VL and my Question is what sandwich plate would I need if any?

The tremec won’t bolt straight up to the RB without a bell housing conversion kit, which will come with the sandwich plate/starter motor etc

dale VLoghlan ok I’ll check I’m not sure if the QuickTime scatter shield I got to go between my tremec magnum 6 speed and my RB30 has one .. cheers !

Is that an Aeroflow sump? I was thinking of getting one but was worried they'd leak? Also is it higher than the cross member as I'm worried it might hang too low and get bottomed out? .. I want my VL super low!

It’s the aeroflow sump, it’s no lower that the factory sump, it’s just wider. Your exhaust will scrape before this sump does 👌🏼

How much rwkw are you aiming for

With this turbo, the injectors and computer I’m going to run I’m looking for around the 280rwkw mark. Not chasing big power, just a reliable and punchy streeter.

With that power u should hit low 11s if it grips
