I’ve got both of these cars stock at the moment and the FG drives a lot better especially in corners but the VF is definitely a lot nicer to drive

Been waiting ages for a video just like this to come out. Me and my mate have both those cars and they are about the same. The falcon has it off the line but the commy starts to eat it up. I’m looking to get my car done up soon so he’s in trouble. Mines also a wagon.

yeah when it comes to n/a 6bangers the barra would always be better when holden only had the LY7 and the LLT. but when the LFX was introduced i reckon we have a better n/a 6banga even if the LFX has integrated headers.

@@wizzfizz6800 Nobody in there right mind thinks the LFX is better than a barra. The LFX is definitly an improvement on the LLT, but its overall power potential, reliability etc does not touch the barra.

@@James_ZA really? I’ve seen lots of barra’s especially in the BA/F’s shit themselves , they’re not invincible lol . Oil pump gears and valve springs went bye bye

@@wizzfizz6800 Lmao, BA/BF barras do not just shit themselves. If you push them beyond factory power (in turbo form, NA's are legit unbreakable) and dont do the basic supporting mods, then that happens. Stock BA's will do 1 million kms all day everyday, a number no GM 6 cylinder will ever get near. And if you want to do push it, then the simple basic mods of valve springs, head studs and oil pump gears then you can run reliable 10s all day for less than $10k. Another number no GM 6 cyclinder will ever get near. They are probably equal second most invisible 6 cylinder ever made. The 2J taking first place and the RB and Barra taking out an equal second.

I have a 2014 vf sv6 with a vcm otr, black ops cats and a full 2.25 black ops Catback. Got it tuned and it only made 230 horsepower

These guys are known for inflating their dyno numbers to make their customers happy. Let me quote you one of their recent Google reviews- "THIS IS AN EDITED REVIEW READ BOTTOM, got my vf v6 done with a stage 3 kit, loving it so far, 233.2rwkw from a v6 isn’t bad and the price is great, had a few issues getting the video of the dyno but it came through eventually. - - FALSE DYNO NUMBERS... took my car to a legit dyno and my car made 194kw that’s a big difference they fake their numbers to hype up p players like myself but in reality it’s just trickery..."

Drove a rental SV6 a few years back. Great car - very good handling - better than my current FG XR6 and much nicer interior in the VF. But as a drivers car my ropey old E36 325i manual coupe would have destroyed both of them on a twisty road or a race track. Thats with huge power and torque deficiency. Can't beat 1350 KG, Bilstein shocks, a LSD and Bridgestone S001s (back in 2014).
