Yellow Lightsabers are the third most common lightsabers for Jedi. There is: - The Jedi Temple Guards, they all have yellow sabers. - Rey Skywalker's current blade - Old and High Republic Jedi - Plo Koon had one, Luke had one for a bit, and now Ventress has one. Like several characters, Ventress's story is not over, and as of right now, we don't know where she's gonna end up, with her story being written for the future as we speak. We don't know what the future of Star Wars animation is, but would love to see some Ventress animated adventures, if not live-action as well.

I speculated from the start that Omega could be Force Sensitive. So for me, having her not be Force sensitive but still be different in a way that makes her important to cloning is a good enough result

Unfortunately, we know that project Necromancer never completely ends or gets shut down because they mention project Necromancer in season 3 of The Mandalorian during the Shadow Council meeting.

@@IrrelevantPerson i disagree, the prequel trilogy were good on their own. Clone Wars enhanced and explained a few things, but people can enjoy those movies and see the progression and build up of Anakin turning to the dark side, the rise of Palpatine, Obi Wan and Anakins relationship was all shown in the movies its all there, and you can enjoy it upon viewing the movies. Clone Wars cartoon is not required viewing to understand and enjoy the movies. To give an example, the clones were created to be obedient to orders given, episode 2 explains this. We see an order given that they quickly execute without question, without watching the clone wars show you just know that the clones quickly betray the jedi without any hesitation and nothing needs to really be explained about why it happened. The clone wars gives a clear reason why they so easily betrayed them, the chips. Is this required knowledge? No. You can watch 1-6 on their own and simply enjoy them no random plot points need further explaining. Sequel trilogy set up the return of palpatine. It undoes the ending of episode 6, nothing in episode 7 and 8 alude to or explain that this dead character made a clone of himself. To explain it you are now required to watch The Bad Batch and the Mandalorian to see how that is happening.

To each their own lol. But I still remember the documentaries on the death of Star Wars, how the PT completely ruined the OT and Star Wars forever, and the crowds singing about how George Lucas r*ped their childhood etc, and I think we’re going to end up in a pretty similar scenario to what happened with the PT. Sure they should’ve built him up more originally, but I’m not gonna complain about something that makes it better.

Ventress was supposed to have a final arc in The Clone Wars, but it was adapted into the novel Dark Disciple instead. If y'all remember, it was shown she had Jedi training before Count Dooku trained her. It was also shown in The Clone Wars that Jedi Temple Guards had double bladed yellow lightsabers

Omega didn't pass any of the tests in this episode. The second thing, getting the flower, wasn't an actual test. It was getting Omega out of the way so Ventress could sort things out with the Batch. It was just a way to keep her busy for a little bit. Omega also doesn't have a necessarily high M-count, her blood is just a good carrier. Omega was never destined to be a Jedi. It feels like some people started talking about that just so they would have one more thing to complain about, either true or not.

Facts. I have no idea why people keep interpreting the flower getting thing as an actual test. It was clearly just to keep her busy while Ventress kicked the shit out of the batch.

10:50 Omega‘s blood ist the key, that the m-count after the transfusion doesn‘t degradate. Maybe Omega has a high m-count herself. But it‘s her blood as catalyst, which is vital to the sucess of project necromancer.

You should definitely read Dark Disciple! It's one of the best books of the new canon and both Ventress and Quinlan Vos have very compelling arcs.

The Jedi Temple Guards used Yellow Lightsaber Pikes. Plo-Koon used a Yellow Lightsaber during many campaigns during the Clone Wars. Luke even used a repaired Temple Guard Pike at one point. And Yes Rey Palpatine's first saber was Yellow.

What I love about Ventriss here, the animation on her facial expressions is different. I'd compare it to Lin Beifond in Legend of Korra after her "acupuncture episode". Where the character is drawn with softer lines and it makes them look more at peace than they'd ever looked before

As good as Dark Disciple was, the novels and comics are only secondary canon compared to the primary canon of the shows and movies. So while the novels and comics try their best to stay in line with the movies and shows, the movies and shows aren’t under the same obligation and have a numerous occasions contradicted and retconned the novels and comics. That’s pretty much how it’s always been.

The second this episode dropped and they flirted with the idea Omega might be force sensitive I won't lie, I almost dropped the show. Jedi's are the worst part of Star Wars for me, the older I get, the dumber they are and I honestly don't want any part of it. So to find out by the end she isn't, and is just essentially a missing ingredient for the Emperor to make clones with access to the force, I was stoked.
