I've just watched your 3 ADHD videos in a row - no stops between, no pausing, no fading out - hyper focused. Yup. My daughter was diagnosed as probably having ADHD when she was a teen. I totally denied it, as did she. What did they know? So what if they have a PhD in Psychiatry - they don't know her, or me. Pphhhhhffft. Yeah, 15 years on - she definitely has ADHD. I probably have had undiagnosed ADHD my whole life. 2 of my son's 3 kids probably have ADHD. Genetic as. I use lists, I get distracted and go down 'rabbit holes' researching stuff when I'm interested, lose my keys/phone/whatever when I've JUST had them in my hand. Thanks for all the info in these. Super awesome, super helpful. Oh and my super power is creativity. Give me fabric, and idea, miscellaneous objects to make and I'll do it. They love me at my amateur theatre company because I can do crazy things altering/making costumes and props. But no matter how organised I get, they are always finished at the 11th hour ... procrastination is a b**ch and my archnemesis. But, you have given me hope, better understanding, and some new tricks to help work with my ADHD rather than against it. Luv from Granny Lanny in Adelaide, Australia xoxo

Another tip. Artificial tree. If you take care of it, you can enjoy it for years. You know how many decorations you'll need. You also don't need to worry about watering it. My Mother had the same 5ft tree for over 40 years. Another tip for those who "need" a real tree, plant one. My in-laws did that decades ago. They don't put as many decorations on it but that's the neighborhood. All you need is lights anyway. My Husband works for our city in the parks department. He has to destring and mulch so many trees that he's gotten over needing a real tree. We get lots of free lights every year though.

I’m so tickled to see you doing these ADHD videos!! I have ADHD & own my own online business, & I’ve recently discovered that im SO PASSIONATE about encouraging my ladies & talking about the widespread shaming that goes on, the “just choose to focus” crud that tears down my fellow sufferers’ spirit that I cannot. Shut up about it. And my audience is loving it! But as “famous” and large as you guys’ audience is, it validates my passion pretty much & now I’m going to be sharing both your ADHD videos and How to ADHD’s which I do a lot of already. Thank you thank you!

I didn’t find out I had ADHD until well into menopause! Like, 2 years ago! 🤦♀️ And I found out because all of the things I’d struggled with throughout my life (that had me thinking since childhood that I was just a terrible, disorganised, tardy, scatterbrained person) got SO much worse! So, yeah, I reckon ADHD gets worse with menopause. 😕 At least I got the creative part too! 😃🎵🎤🎭👍 Loving all the ADHD life hacks. In fact all Penn and Kim’s videos make me laugh, while learning and feeling better about myself. So, thanks guys. 🥰 Merry Xmas & Happy New Year from sweltering Perth, Down Under. 🎅🎉🇦🇺

Where gifts are concerned this year, I’m torn between: •”impulse”-buying stuff at a dept store chain, just in case I miss it -and/or- waiting till me and my family go on our Thanksgiving vacation and hopefully buying some neat things (probably on Black Friday) that are also locally sourced/crafted. 😅 •Making sure I can still pay my bills between gift-shopping trips (my landlord recently decided to put the water utility in my name. Lol) •Debating on asking for certain home-related things for Christmas or waiting and adding them them to a wedding registry sometime next year. (How much longer can I go w/o a new bed set and vacuum cleaner? Lol)

So it's funny to hear these; some totally apply -- she'll never make it through any movie, but seems to like to watch the same ones 1000 times b/c then if she leaves the room for 30 minutes and wanders back in she hasn't missed anything. Some just so totally don't... caroling or wearing a life of the party outfit are SOOOO outside her wheelhouse! Love these videos though!

I am 40 something w adhd and I rewatch the same shows for the same reason your daughter does. It’s comforting like a friend that doesn’t judge you and is no pressure to be “on” bc you can just exist and it’s still there for u when u get back and u don’t feel like u have to be laser focused bc it’s not new. I also do this because I genuinely forget so it can be like catching up w an old friend u forgot about hahah

As an introvert may I also request: If you're going carolling and you know your neighbours are introverts, please knock on the door, wave, and sing as you walk away. DO NOT stand on the doorstep looking at them as you sing. I can't even express to you how uncomfortable it is. It's a sweat-inducing hyperventilating nightmare. We love you, we love how kind you are to include us, we think it's fantastic and we'll cry happy tears of joy about it. Later. When the door is closed and we are alone. If applicable: 1. Text your mom and mother in law and just ASK what to get everyone.... do it by text so this list is actually ON YOUR PHONE 2. Pick out a simple quick thing to bring to parties (snowballs don't get baked so you can't burn them) 3. Pick out a wrapping paper for each person (That has multiple presents) so you can see at a glance - 3. Lists on paper will get lost in your purse, use a small notebook or buy one of the holiday planners. 4. Pick out a simple dress change it up with accessories. 5. Christmas cards- use a cute online card thing where you put your faces on the elves and they dance then email to loved ones. If anyone asks you're being environmentally friendly. 6. Unless you love to bake say no to cookie exchanges or do snowballs. 7. Don't want to do caroling? Take family to scope out best decorated houses.... vote for the best one then run in front and take a family picture. 8. Make a menu for special dinners then put the time each needs to get started. Remember prep/peeling vegetables time. 9. Swing by the dollar store for take out containers so you can send away leftovers without worrying you will never see your good containers again. 10. Gift cards can be personal if the note is personal. Buy all at once do cards right away. Hope this helps!

Don't hide presents. It's a bad idea. I literally spent hours running around the house Christmas Eve and ended up having to pick out a new present for someone because I hid their present. It was later found in the box of our new tv. If you drop the presents in random places and don't think about them again till Christmas, you're more likely to be able to find them, and nobody will suspect anything because it wasn't hidden
