U better Tell the truth 😂😂😂😂we men loved her no matter how trash the writing was and the movie affects where. It's was the wehman and f3minists that canned this movie. It's bad enough they hated the franchise because of the macho alpha theme with good Emotion/drama that we men love and that women hate but secretly love🤫 I remember it like it was yesterday we men hated John Connors mother and all of her stupid decisions she made but loved her development. yet the women loved her character because of her bad decisions. It's was crazy the women sh!tting on T-x because she was hot

I just watched Terminator 3 again (on DVD of course), solely to see the astonishing performance of Kristanna Loken, before i found this interview with her. Even more than 20 years after the film's original release, it’s still unbelievable how wonderfully she handled such a challenging role. I highly recommend this movie to everyone to witness the incredible heights an actress can reach in her performance.

I think at the time it wasn't as well received by the hardcore Terminator fans. I remember from experience that the main takes were that it was corny at times, didn't take itself seriously when it should have etc. I think looking back now Terminator 3 was probably the last actually good one we had. Salvation was cool and had its moments but it also felt out of place and I think of that as more of a spinoff in some ways. Kristanna was brilliant as a terminator and she aced that role.
@Novastar.SaberCombat

The writing in T3 was pretty awful. I felt bad enough for Claire Danes having to utter such ridiculous lines, and even Arnold's performance was mostly limited by the stale, banal, childish nonsense on the screenplay's pages. But the action sequences were absolutely mesmerizing, and this is despite some of the over-the-top stuff they decided to go for. Overall, T3 demonstrates why Cameron's work on T1 & T2 stands the test of time, but everything else "falls apart like burnt leaves". The humanity and character arcs were what mattered to Cameron's productions. The "cool EFX brah" was what mattered to the writers and directors of the other films... and it shows.

Greets Holdin Court Podcast & great work. Thanks to you Big Court, Rachel Renee' and Producer Ken for this interesting interview! Kristanna Loken's portrayal of the TX in Terminator 3 was not just a performance; it was a captivating blend of strength and complexity. This had me imagine a future storyline where Skynet, in its relentless pursuit of perfection, models a new terminator after a significant figure in the human resistance-perhaps someone who embodies the resilience and spirit of the fight against the machines. It would be fascinating to explore a character with Kristanna’s essence, representing hope amidst despair. Her craft truly elevates the narrative, and it would be amazing to see her return in a new role that honors that legacy. Bravo to her for leaving such a lasting impression!

She did a great job as a Terminator...... that part in T3 when she looked in the mirror always amused me, but I never fully understood it until she's explained it just now. I love that she put feminine touches to her character. And that tasting blood scene is always great.... she both looked creepy and sexy doin it all at the same time. :P Also, sci-fi shows and movies all have the strong female characters, this one included. :)

I always loved Loken's immaculate, super-precise work as the "super terminator" (IDK the model number, lol). Something people often forget is how difficult it is for anyone to stand next to Arnold--or, for another example, Bautista--and look as if you are an equivalent threat, powerhouse, etc. And though her stunning beauty was awesome, I think it's crystal bloody clear that her training, mannerisms, and reactions alongside the costuming, makeup, shots, etc. worked wonders. I believed that Loken's character--like Patrick's T1000--was a deadly threat.

Simply a beautiful woman. Hard to believe this much time has passed. I'm about Kristanna's age and was in college then when I saw T3 in theaters in 2003. She now looks like she would be her own mother from back then. The only issues I have with the TX character is the red Fruit Rollup leather thing they made her wear and some of the cartoonish, somewhat early digital CGI. On a rewatch, the film is neither as good as I remember it being in the theater, nor is it as bad as people have said it is. The fights were really different from the first two films and going a bit into MCU territory. The Terminators were no longer machines but ragdolls. She was a refreshing change being a female villain. The other Terminators that came after her were derivative. T5 could phase as a cool ability but was basically an endoskeleton. T6 was T1 and T2 combined and able to split into separate parts. I think the TX could stand up against them both well. She still seems the most lethal. T3 T-850 Arnold vs. T5 T3000 John Connor would have been interesting. Nick Stahl was okay in T3 but he didn't look like a natural progression from Edward Furlong in the same way you could see T4's Anton Yelchin turn into Michael Biehn. T4 had interesting ideas in the best adult John Connor (Christian Bale), and also the early Terminator/human cyborg, even if Sam Worthington and Jai Courtney are both rather boring actors in their roles. T4 did its best to expand the Terminator universe beyond its usual plots. Kristanna should definitely be cast in more, higher profile things.

She doesn't know what she's talking about. She probably doesn't look at box office numbers. More likely someone told her that, and she believed it. It was a high grossing movie but didn't even gross as much as Terminator 2. The biggest movies that year were Finding Nemo, Return to the King, Matrix 2, Pirates of the Caribbean 2.

I wish they made a Terminator series out of her, like Sarah Conner, and it's never too late. Or she could come back in one of the Terminator film sequels, as long as the script is good.

Having a terminator look like a woman was quite ingenious due to the inconspicuous nature of the concept.

T3 is nowhere near as good as the first two Terminator films but IMHO it is the best non Cameron Terminator film!

Terminator 3 is a great movie - especially if you watch some fan edits, that removes some of the jokes, and the ending... My gosh the ending. Wow!

Not going to talk about her first scene where she is walking on the street naked? That's so normal, and not significant right?
