@Overthinking-rain reminds me of one of my police officer characters. Was about to loot a survivor home in the College town, pop up appeared and I got bit by a zombie that appeared out of nowhere. So what I did was return to the Rosewood PD and wrote a note describing his story and let him go in peace in the cells where another character came and honored his wish and burned him behind his station

Saddest moment on this game was getting beat down by a bunch of zombies my character showing all the signs of turning so I stepped on glass shards to let him bleed out only to find out he wasn’t infected. I made another character and had them bury him as this song played.

This reminds me of one of the times I played zomboid with one of my friends My character had been bit when he was asleep. We had fled and were hiding in a remote ranger station. My character went out onto the balcony for a smoke. My friend stood right next to me and this played. I felt slightly at peace yet also afraid of what will happen in only a matter of days. The cold, dark january night, the bite wound, My friend, the cigarette and my trusty shotgun. Good times.

Both of my friends characters died clearing a horde that was in the main road of Muldraugh. I took 4 axes and two machetes, one of each hand. My character got bitten 4 times but kept pushing through the pain. when he killed the last zombie he was nothing more than a dead man walking, fully covered in blood and bandages. I let him sit on the road arround the corpses while the sun was setting. I like to imagine him looking and the sun set while smiling and thinking how he avenged his allies to then remove his bandages and accept his fate.

One thing they should improve is the drunk system. It does nothing really, it simply adds a moodle and that's all. I think in b42, shooting while being drunk is going to be much harder but it would be cool to add stuff like a blury screen and something like your character doesn't respond properly when you ask him/her to do something simple like walking. Kind of like red dead redemption when you turn your joystick to the right he's going to the left. It would be terrible while driving a car. And while running, he or she could fall. I'm never drunk on that game, I never make my character drink, except on rare occasions but it definitely is something to be improved.

Yeah, it could be improved. The only times I've had the moodle is for when I took a little microsip from a beer bottle to sleep. Other was to end a save where me and my friend was gonna delete our save so we got shit-faced drunk and started shooting at each other until one of us died
