My dad is a retired neon tube bender, he had his own shop and business for 30+ years. After the glass has been heated, bent, and anealed into the desired shape, the tubes have to have all the oxygen vacuumed out of them and the neon or argon is then pumped in afterwards. A separate tube containing a small amount of mercury is also attached before the transfer of gases begins. The colors displayed in neon tubes are either straight neon, argon, or a combination of one of them with glass that has been coated on the inside with a wide variety of different powders that react with the charged gasses and the tiny amount of mercury that has to be “bombarded” and turned into a gaseous state to “age” the tubes to the desired colors.

A lot of people misunderstand when they think of plasma. Especially in these cases. While plasma does indeed have a lot of energy, since it's density is super low in that glass capsule, heat exerted from that plasma is also very low. So you can call it high temperature low heat(maybe… not sure about this part). Even space, infact isn't empty, but filled with plasma clouds between stars and systems, and even planets.

If humans had evolved to have that adaptation, jewelry and clothing would be made with small glass tubes of noble gases somewhere on them, touching the skin. It would have been seen as a sign of nobility, wealth, and high class society. It might also have been a sign of good health, as you would need to be in good health and well-nourished in order to continuously produce the voltage required. The more you had lit at once and/or the brighter each one was would signify your fortitude and health. Another interesting point, of the hypothetical reality, is that you might be able to control the voltage to a specific area. This could be used to create blinking effects for show and/or functionality. This would be seen by high society members as a show of great fortitude and health, as well as an amazing display of control over your own body.

Theres a common misconception that people get electrified due to high voltage....its not the fact...they get electrified when a high amount of current flows through their body....in this case voltage is very high but the current is so small that nothing happens...however if voltage is even 1mV and current is huge....ur basically a dead man walking
@bagusamartya53253 жыл бұрын
An analogy: Voltage is the height, current is the fall. You'd be worse falling down a 5 metres drop than slowly descending a 10,000 metres slide. 10,000 volts can pass you like nothing, but you can pass out handling 1 Ampere current

I really want to see him use 2 Tesla coils to manipulate the sound waves in the air, aka using the 2 wireless transmitters of kinetic energy to _bounce off each other_ and produce sound waves that can be manipulated in the air to order to make music. For those that didn't get that, I want to see him use 2 Tesla coils that _use each other_ to *wirelessly* put electricity in the air, and produce lighting that plays music. And for anyone who _didn't get THAT_ lol, I wanna see him use 2 machines that makes *musical lightning.*

Tesla coils don't produce kinetic energy, they produce electrical energy and it's not wireless, you have to be touching it or be close enough for the electrical energy to transfer to you. You're describing a speaker which uses electrical energy to create kinetic energy which produces a sound.
